Just grabbed this cotter pin puller and a small spoon seal pick yesterday from my snap on dealer. I don't work at a shop so I just swing in and get stuff when I see him around locally
Also had a $25 Christmas gift card for sears that I used to get a pair of knipex dikes
I also grabbed all this used stuff off of craigslist off of two different people. Spent 80 on all this!! It's all snap on and MATCO except the drifts.. Don't know who makes them

Traded my 14.4 3/8 impact for the 8810 so I'm on the same battery as my 7850. This possibly could be the last time I stick with Snap On as far as cordless tools go.

I don't mind the premium price for US made but the price they want for batteries that are not US made are probably going to push me away. $170 for a battery is hard to swallow especially if you need to replace a couple at a time.

I'm a Snap On guy but in my opinion they have been behind the times on power tools. Took them forever to have Lithium batteries and had 14.4 3/8 impact long after 18 volt was the norm. Now everyone is going brushless and they release a 18 volt Lithium 3/8 impact that has brushes.

For the price Snap On should be ahead of the competition but in reality they are behind in some ways.

I agree with you on this 100 percent. I am going Milwaukee fuel set up next. My snap on dealer cannot stock enough cordless tools he is pushing at least one out the door. Over 2500 dollars in cordless tools a week.

A little more Wiha from KC Tools.

SAE/Metric Hollow shaft nut drivers

Micro slotted/Phillips w/Bonus pliers.
Nice little haul there.

Any particular reason why one set of nut drivers have ESD grips and the others standard grips (insulated, but not VDE rated)?

I'd be willing to bet that 8810 will hit harder than any of those brushless impacts out now. It will be outclassed eventually, but until then, I don't know that I'd base the quality of my tools solely on whether or not they have brushes.

I agree with you as far as brushless vs brushes go but sticking with NiCad for as long as they did was just dumb. There is an immense benefit to Lithium battery technology over NiCad.

Snap-On has 2 other problems with all their new releases. The first is they're charging about 2-3x the price as a comparable Milwaukee/Bosch/IR kit and the second is their warranty, which *****. Its a truck brand so the premium price is to be expected however they have no excuse for their pitiful 1 year warranty which doesn't instill confidence in me if I were to walk up and plunk SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS down on a 3/8" impact and two batteries.

Is there anything that compares to the CT8810 torque? Did some quick searching and didn't come up with a whole lot.

I got these in late November, but never posted photos. I got them for a great price from BC Fasteners & Tools, for any Canadians looking at purchasing some Milwaukee stuff.

The ESD line has the yellow grips, where mine has black grips. I'm don't think they even carry ESD nut drivers. :headscrat

In your photo, I saw the Yellow and Black handled ones, which instantly make me think ESD, as that's the color combination they use for them (link should tell you why I'm confused). While the standard handles would be Red and Black.

Wonder why the shift on the nut drivers? :headscrat

As per ESD nut drivers, they actually do make those, but only in the 277 series (Inch, Metric). Oh, and the color scheme is Yellow and Black. :spit:

I can certainly see the mix up. They appear to be very heavy duty for being a hollow shaft driver, so I'm very happy with the purchase. Bonus that they were, and still are, on sale.

The model number is "NOS" ;)

Actually, I do have a price list and catalog but I can't seem to find it.. the ones listed as "4-in-1" are actually the one with the larger handle, so I'll have to dig around a bit to find it...

edit: Darn you're a fast one! I thought that was the right number, but nope! Heh. It appears that this is more 5-in-1 than 6, both bits are 5/16 i think.

I wish the darn numbers would be listed on the page of the 2 pack, it'd make things easier lol.

Mini 4-in-1 + Regular size 4-in-1

We'll have to add it to the list of things we want him to bring back ;) Just glad I found the last one at the store!

Regular 4 in 1's and full size 2-in-1's. I do believe the red looks the best, and I do hope they produce them again. Every True Value or Pro hardware store I talk to already knows that Enderes is back in business, I'm sort of surprised!

Happy Birthday to me. Been wanting the flex head 3/8 for a while and both were on sale. I should have looked over a few more of the 1/4 ones though as this one appears to be just a touch shy of the big leagues.

a few little things.

Wife got me this set from Big Sky Tools. Hitachi drill and rotary tool, 2 battery's and a charger. I already had one of this model drill but the only way to get the rotary tool was to get another.

Oh well. They look good together though.

Been wanting a grinder, and picked up this leftover Black Friday special from Home Depot today.

helping father in law move and im in charge of getting the shop cleared out. found a wilton vice bolted to one of the tables. and asked him when he got that cause i never remembered it being there. he said his neighbor gave it to him. (neighbor lives a few miles away)and he might want it back. wouldn't you know it. said neighbor showed up on his 4 wheeler. and i asked him about it and its now part of my shop.
not new. but new to me!
