I started with the Proto Classic Professional 19 pc screwdriver set from Amazon, continued with the 8 pc Phillips set and the 9 pc Torx set from Zoro, and PRESTO the 36 pc Proto set for $ 110.00 less than everybody charges for it (and I wound up with an extra stubby #2 Phillips...)...Damn good screwdrivers!!!:thumbup::thumbup:

The GearWrench Magnetic Extension Set is going to come in handy---to keep my stuff from, as a GJ member put it, rolling to Narnia...:willy_nil:willy_nil

The Craftsman Accessory Set fills a long standing vacancy in my box...:rocker:

Been a good month, so far...:lol_hitti

Stopped by Sears after work today to see if I could burn a $50 gift card that I received from a co-worker for Xmas. I decided on some needed tools that I just never seem get around to buying with my own money.

Get those used Gray tools set of wrenches today. they go from 1 3/8 up to 2 inches. And a little question do you have any suggestion on how to store them cause they are pretty big as you can see. There is a 3/4 to see the difference

New Irwin 24606 tap and die set. Nice made in the USA T&D set. Great little set to have in my tool box, will save me a lot of long walks to the tool room.

Home Depot had a bunch of tools on clearance, snagged these for 5 bucks. They're gimmicky, but will be perfect for the tool bag in the work car.

Latest addition to the garage..

Sure Shot 16oz atomizer sprayer by Milwaukee Sprayer (#8400CB). $43

It's a quality tool with chemical resistant Viton seals. It even came with an extra valve and nozzle assortment, including: 2 fine, 2 regular, 2 medium, 2 coarse and 1 pin stream nozzle. I'm impressed.

With the fine nozzle installed it lays down a nice fine mist. I'll use it mostly for applying detail spray.

Made in the U.S.A.

A sample of my newest e-bay finds. A 3/8 drive Craftsman flying V speeder wrench (I didn't even know these existed), and one of those cool old solid steel screwdrivers in seemingly brand new condition (still has burrs around the tip edge). Don't even ask me what I paid for the wrench, all that matters is that it will be the perfect tool for opening/closing the vises on my mill.

Nice ratchet and screwdriver. Is there a name on the screwdriver? I think I have the same one labeled "Germany" or something simple like that. :headscrat:

BTW, that green. :eyecrazy:

I prefer this style, but that thing's pretty cool. Used to make them when I was in school.

Those pliers look a little dicked if you ask me. I'd maybe take those back to the truck and exhange them; looks like a flaw. Both shots of them they look odd.

Have you actually handled a pair? They are a three piece double jointed Slip-Joint high leverage pliers. The top picture is the normal position for the extended joint and would not normally close that small on a work piece.

As the the slop he shows in the second picture, that is normal due to the double joint design. His pliers are fine and any replacement will be the same.

Hmm I might have to try a pair of those, I swear by the pwcs7 right now
:rocker:

Get a pair, you wont regret it. They have high leverage handles (long) and stupidly simple with 3 functions; insulated crimp, regular crimp, and it has an 'anvil type' cutter.
