Went to see my dealer about the HL138ACP plier, he had another pair on the truck, same slop. I think its the nature of the design.

Told he I would take something else. SO radiator picks instead.

Also pick up a mac fender cover from local online auction:

Big thanks to Digital4n6 for his thread he started in the Hot Deals section HERE

Sears in Virginia was having a sale on the Ingersoll Rand 1/2 In. 2135TIMAX for $186.94!!

So, I changed my store location to his, added it to the cart, and then printed the page out.

Took it to my local Sears, asked if they matched other Sears' prices, they said yes, and I handed over my print out.

While I was in there I found a New Old Stock set of USA made Craftsman 1/2 shallow 6pt sockets. Not on sale or a deal or anything but my set is missing those so I filled it out.

Store zip code: 23059

Go to local AD

Search for:
Item # 00919288000P
Model # 2135TIMAX

Add to cart, print the page.

Good deal. You will love that gun.

I put a swivel quick connect on it, oiled it, and ran it forward and back.

And...its has a really cool sound to it. Doesn't sound like any other impacts I have used...sounds...futuristic. :lol_hitti

But it is much lighter than my Craftsman 1/2 impact that I have been using for tires and mower blade changes.

Sadly, with this purchase I have put my Nepros 3/8 ratchet and Snap-On long handle 1/2 ratchet on the back burner for a few weeks.

But hey, thats how it goes.

Long time lurker, first time poster.

Got a box full of goodies, bought a few more today.

The impact gun was half price on the truck! Couldn't pass that up.

Got this set from Grainger the other day. It doesn't have a PN on it but pretty sure it wasn't what I ordered. They had a Cman7pc Metric stubby on clearance for $20 that I wanted. Assuming it was NOS Cman professionals. However went to pick them up and this is what they gave me.

Since I wasn't positive that it wasn't what they had listed I went ahead and left with them. Went back online and tried to order the stubbys again and got an email saying they didn't have anymore. Oh well. No 16 or 17 is kinda strange though.

Got me a new jacket through Zoro.

Might have to go back though. The sleeves are almost ridiculous short for the L. I wanted it to be close fitting which the chest is perfect. I am 6'3" though so kinda used to it, this just more than normal.

And went with CPO Milwaukee to make use of the free M12 2.0 battery. Even got to pick it up at the warehouse since its a mile from my work. Which was interesting.

Nice ratchet and screwdriver. Is there a name on the screwdriver? I think I have the same one labeled "Germany" or something simple like that. :headscrat:

BTW, that green. :eyecrazy:

Screwdriver is stamped 'Irwin-USA'. Yeah, that green. I put the tools on a poster board so they'd show up well. Maybe something different next time.

I didn't change the head that's the way it came, did they regularly come wth a different head? It is a tslf936.

No I thought it was a dual 80 head. Some people swap them out. As far as I know those ratchets aren't made any more. It must be NOS.

Got this stuff yesterday. The bit set is nice. It's called the metric bit set and has more pieces for less money than the normal one my driver carries. He was surprised when I showed him the part number and price so he ordered it in. Very nice!
Was looking at the beanies on the truck and my dealer just gave me one on the house!!

Absolutely nothing exciting, but sometimes the small purchases of things that make life easier are cooler than the big ticket items. Two saw files, a US made Stanley exacto knife, and an organizer for the multitude of projects I have going on right now.

It means a lot to me to buy these good USA made tools from good folks like Epsteins and Enderes. Both of them because of their presence on this board.

I just picked up this box today from a guy on Craigslist. I already have the exact same top box but he wasn't willing to seperate them. For $400 bucks I couldn't pass it up.

Got this Weller WES51 soldering station today. It's the same as I use at work got tired of messing around with the cheapo station I had bought at Frys a few years back. It was on sale for $70 at Radio Shack but withstood the temptation to get the digital for $21 more. I like simplicity and even though the Weller is an excellent tool, I think the manual one will be more reliable than the digital.

Nice deal. I still prefer the simplicity of the WTCPT series.
