I knew that was the wrong question to ask.
The question I should have asked was, what type of items use this size battery? That's a cool little charger but I need to get something that uses those batteries so I can get the charger. I know, fuzzy logic right.
For most people, flashlights are the main thing taking 18650s. They have a ton of power. I have a Zebralight H600w 900 lumen headlamp that uses them.
For my EDC light though I have a Sunwayman V11R. Love it, very handy little light. The issue with 18650s is their size. Almost double the length of a CR123. The V11R runs on CR123 or 16340s. It's got a lot of power when you need it but is infinitley variable for light output which is nice for a lot of things because you can dial it back when its too bright. It has an extremely strong clip so it doesn't all out of my pocket. I really like it.
I had a Nitecore EC1? Cant remember the model but it was even smaller and used CR123's. Nice light but it went through the washer.
I'm a flashlight geek too now, and once you start you will be too. Streamlight Stylus used to seem so bright and badass. I still carry mine in case I set my other one down somewhere or it goes dead but man does that thing seem weak. I guess the V11R does have 10 times the light output though.
Finally got my cordless ratchet. Was excited to try it out at work today but the flu had other ideas.

You'll love it, I just ordered the 1/4" version because the 3/8" is so handy. Use it for everything. I've owned snap on air ratchets for the past two years and can count on my hands how many times I have used them because I hate dragging an air hose around. Probably gonna sell them now. Love the cordless stuff.
Immediately put my 1/2 impact to work!

All of the Milwaukee Fuel impacts have impressed me. lots of power. I gave in again today and bought a Fuel M12 hammer drill kit, right angle drill kit and straight rotary tool.
if you so get batteries get nitecore batteries. ive tried about all the batteries out there ultrafires are the worst. Panasonic and nitecore seem to have the longest lasting battery
Panasonics are great, Ultrafires ****. Just got some more panasonics today actually.
When it comes to protected cells a lot of people use different cells and wrap them with whatever name. The stuff I use does not need protected ones so I buy unprotected panasonics.
If I remember rightly, tucked just out of sight the Makita pack uses those batteries, as well as older MacBooks etc. Wasn't it the AA battery of rechargeable Lithium Ion?
A lot of battery packs use 18650's. Very common in laptop batteries also.
