You can still get brand new USA NOS from cripedistributing on eBay, I just got 6" - 12" for less than $50 shipped from them.

They still make generation 1 US ones.

Bought an impact gun at the local pawn shop on my way home from work today (IR-231 rebranded Blue-Point AT123 rebranded Cat 222-3050)

He was asking $150...talked him down to $65 by telling him he could either take my $65 or I'd go across the street to Harbor Freight and buy an Earthquake for the same price.

I'm an engineer at Caterpillar, so it has some additional "cool" factor for me.

Got this large standard socket set for only $12 Clearance at Northern Tool. The quality of the case and the sockets are very good for the price. I just got it because I needed a few sockets from the set and the 1/2 Universal. The small breaker bar, extension and ratchet looks crappy in the picture but actually it is very solid and well built.

The rolling seat was also from Northern Tool for $15 on sale. :)

Its COLLLDDDD here at work. Got here this morning and found the waste oil heaters wouldn't turn on. Went out and checked the 10k gallon storage tank and found to only have 10 or so inches of oil in the bottom and the very bottom 3-4 inches were heavy sludge. So I spent all morning pumping out the oil barrels and ended up with 175-200 gallons of warmer oil to pump in it and then had to keep resetting the heaters to try to bleed the air from the lines. Realll fun but my toes are just starting to thaw out now so its getting better.

Is it beer thirty yet??

I have a serious love/hate relationship with ours also. Well its more hate than anything. Waste oil is a cheap source but I'm the one that has to deal with the thing and fix it all winter. ***** having a cold shop when it quits. They are really tempermental. Ours is a Lanair MXB250. I hear better things about the cleanburns but if I replace this thing it may not be a waste oil burner. If we had access to NG I definatley wouldn't piss around with it anymore. It's really not too bad if you can keep clean oil under 50w going to it. It doesn't seem to like gear lube and of course water and antifreeze do not burn well either.

Very impressed with my new headlamp! 1020 Lumens of awesomess

You ****. I have an H600W that hasn't been working for awhile. I was going to order the H602W last fall but they didn't know when it would be in stock. I was going to order it today but it was on backorder. Figured I should probably just get my place in line since Zebralight never has anything in stock. But I didn't feel like spending my money on something I'd have to wait an unknown amount of time for today so I bought the rest of the exhaust for my wifes TDI instead.

I like the color of my H600W but want the huge flood that the H602w has for working up close to stuff. Plus mine being the older style it doesn't have as much output or run time and it automatically steps down after 3 minutes. Its a big step too versus the newer ones true thermal management that works a lot better.

I like Zebralights, really light and powerful. nice simple headband too, just wish they would stock stuff once and awhile.

I toured the small wheel loader plant in NC, it was pretty neat. We toured right when they were starting with the K series loaders before the official launch of the three smaller models. I thought their old assembly line was interesting with basically a huge forklift just picking each machine up and moving it down the line. We played with them outside too and the hydrostatic drive had its advantages but took some getting used to.

By large I assume you man 992 994 size stuff? Any plans to go to electric drive? or is it not beneficial enough?

Don't need the protected cells for the Zebralight. I see those ones just barely meet their maximum length, theres a lot of issues with protected 18650's fitting in them. Many are too long and the light wont work. I use unprotected Panasonic flat tops.

I bought mine on Ebay for that very reason... ZL never seems to stock anything :dunno: I've been using an H502d for a year but the battery life is dismal and it could really be brighter...

I picked up the protected cells so I can use them in my other stuff too. They are a snug fit but such is life with the 3400 mAh cells... Had to peel the Xtar logo off to slide them in the tube but they fit "just so" now

New 1/2 inch impact and small air saw. So far I like them both. Traded my MT1769A in on the MT2769.

Have had the air saw for a week or two and works great.

Sounds like I should look around on there.

Makes sense if you already have stuff that needs them.

I really like February...I hated to change her

I had to put a sticker over her face.

Useless without pictures of miss February.

Here she is. I really had to cover her face, for some reason the look on her face bothered me. My wife wondered what was going on so after she looked at the preview picture she understood why. Hopefully my wife will make me a calender soon with her own pictures! She said she will get one printed up for me.

Thanks Jeff. The pearl blue wasn't to bad. I could put it back on feebay and make money. The SDDM41 is not custom made. It is a very rare bit driver. Very hard to get. It came from across the pond lol. The stools I'm not sure on price. It was a deal if you bought the double box end wrench set you got one free. I wanted to get the standard and metric set anyway so when I saw I could get two bar stools by buying them I did. I also got some other items not pictured, the 6 PC steak knife set comes to mind, can't remember the rest right now.

The little key holder/key chain is cool. I've been trying to get for years. Snap on only released them In Japan and that's the 2nd one I've seen since I've been looking.

What is that NADA 1996 screwdriver? Can you post a straight-on picture of it?

Thanks, John.

It's just a pocket screwdriver with the clip on the side. It was a give away item at the NADA conference when it was held in Las Vegas.
