Well, not exactly mine, but I did get the quote and had these items purchased for my office. They arrived on Friday. I love the adjustable wrenches, really nice items. I must say they are nicer than my USA made Craftsman and Crescent brand adjustable wrenches. I really like the pliers as well, I might have to pick up the 3 piece set (minus the tongue&groove) for myself.

Well, not an "office" per se, but I seem to do more paper pushing lately, so it's more and more like an office to me. I'm part of a maintenance back shop for flightline support. We don't wrench on the aircraft, but we maintain our in-shop equipment.

I finally got the last few Proto sockets to complete my 3/8 metric tray - 6pt standard, 12pt deeps





3/8 metric and SAE are now covered, moving onto 1/2.......

Are those the '84-'85 sockets? I'm asking because I see the 's' after 'professional' stamped into the socket.

They were ordered from brand new stock, so as far as I know they should be the most current. IIRC the sideways S may have had something to do with when Stanley took over Proto - some of my deep SAE's from the very early 80's that were made in Canada don't have the extra stamp at all and sport the lock pin holes.

Does this sound right?

I just bought the US-built DeWalt hammerdrill combo. It was like $350 or something after tax.

Kind of hurt, because almost every single power tool I have is teal (and US made), but if DeWalt is going to make an effort to at least build these things here, I'ma throw them a bone.

If you don't mind yellow, you can get the same tools branded CAT from your local Caterpillar dealer cheaper than via snap on. Same for the locking pliers. The locking pliers 5pc set is around $96, and the 3pc pliers set is also about $96. Same tools, warranty, just less money.

Had the same thing happen to me this past Friday when I met my Snap On guy. But today, the mailman came and that empty feeling went away! got a big box o' chrome from member RobertMo1988!!! Thanks again Robert! I'm diggin the green snappy shades!

I just got some free cash for retaining my Senior Master status so I got a new radio. This thing sounds good as I'm use to using freebie radios and now I can get back to streaming pandora from my phone

It's got some features I wanted - like holders to store tools/tubes, tall and thin to fit between my benches. Power is decent, but not quite as powerful as the one it replaced - but then it's only half as loud!

No, those are actually Vim's. Don't have a part number handy, but got them from tool topia. Aside from these, everything I have in a blue box is Vim, and the red boxes are Mac.

I got a Milwaukee electric ratchet wrench 1/4 drive on sale(online) http://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwauke...ss-1-4-in-Ratchet-Kit-2456-21/203111680....it came w/charger and an extra battery $131 out the door...to top it off they never shipped it out. So, after 2 weeks I call to see whats up and they give me another 10% off.....Scored the whole bundle for less than $117 out the door......

Craftsman 10 pc accessory kit. I needed the universal joints and this was cheaper plus 7 bucks in points to use. That brought it down to like 33 bucks. Its nice that it came in a blow molded case.Oh and it's made in china.

To be honest... It's not bad. I paid about 30 euros total for almost everything you see in the photos, I also ordered an Emsa thermos, a few brushes, and a Hazet t-shirt... Ordered on Friday, had my stuff on Monday. Totally worth it if you ask me.

Vaughan 32oz. I am not sure I like having the heartwood in the handle, does anyone have any experience with this? On the top they also filled a gap between the wood and steel.
