Looks more like cobra/"waterpump" pliers.

The design does look more like the Cobra "Smart Grip" than the Robo Grip, but still not quite enough to just be a relabel. Those Smart Grips are pricey too and while they get a better review than the Robo Grips, they still don't seem to be one of Knipex's best ideas.

They are pipe ferrule crimping pliers.

I was referring to the black handled ones, not the large orange ones.

I'm at a training class in Phoenix right now... 1200 miles from my toolbox. I'll take some pics of my ratchet next week.

It's the 44 inch box, and the fll80.

Could you write a review when you used it some? Like how the handle holds up. Seems 17" is quite a length for a 3/8. I'm guessing the price was right? Did you get it for a higher torque 3/8 ratchet or just to reach out there? Very nice, I'm liking it. I hope to have a long handled style f80 here soon.

Worth every penny. If I can't bust it open with my FHL80 or FHLF80, out comes the FLL80 before my 2ft 1/2" breaker bar. Last time I used the breaker bar was 2 months ago trying to loosen a Toyota engine mount with a 8ft pipe (busy shop).

Routinely use it for serpentine belt tensioners, brake and suspensions. Haven't failed me yet, but broke a few sockets already!

I got it mainly for getting in hard to reach places, and for adjusting clutches on semies.... I'll be sure to write a review as soon as I've used it a little. I'll try to write a review for the other tools also.

Ya, belt tensioners is another reason I wanted it. It's almost as long as the old gear wrench serpentine belt tool I used to have

Proto 18 piece ratcheting wrench set. These were on back order for over 2 months, started to wonder if they would ever come in. They are ridiculously nice. Very happy with them.

$600 something, bill was a little over $900 for the ratcheting, angle and flare nut wrench sets. I would have to dig up the invoice to see how it broke down for each set.

Matco ratcheting caliper press. Got a little discount 69 bucks. I tried for 65 but he said how about 69. So w/e saved a few bucks.

I have that exact set... They are indeed USA. Mind blowing to some people isn't it?

That's what happens when you don't stamp COOs into your products. Only one Snap-On ratcheting wrench has ever had USA on it and that was early production XDHRM wrenches (and the Kastar/BP ones I guess-not Snap-On made though).

Also doesn't help that the mechanism of the Blue-Point (Taiwan) and Snap-On wrenches is essentially identical, both are mini-dual 80 designs.

Hardly, purchased over time and only the tap and die set is new because I couldn't justify paying what people were getting on ebay vs just buying it outright (on sale) with a warranty. The rest are "used". The bushing sets in particular do horrible on resale. Not too much interest in them but I've had many instances where that kit would of come in handy so I watched for it. Paid about $140 for that kit I think.

Make no mistake, im cheap, I just like nice stuff ;).

$400 w/shipping. The hard part was waiting for one that didn't have a chewed up screw on the frame. I see a lot of sets with galled threads because people don't use the zerks. They still sell well.

Sometimes the little picks are the best deals: a Bosch 1/4" and a Diablo flush trim router bit - neither has been opened and they were $1.99 each.

New from Lowes- someone posted in the 'Hot Deals'- less than $80. They had 4 ready for pick up so ppl are def buying them at 1/2 off:lol_hitti I wanted a vise forever- I think this is the best of both worlds as I can take it inside

New jack from Costco- $99- mad they don't have the super low one anymore:mad: but this one is rated at 2.5 tons vs 3.25 tons and weighs about half the low profile because it is aluminum & steel. I am happy. My old Craftsman jack served me well- bought her in 2003 iIRC
