CanPost dropped this off yesterday (backordered for 15 days), why I didn't buy them sooner?! The Fuel impressed me the most, took off lugs no problem!

FAR7000 and MG325 should be coming in next week as well.

This has to stop......... my wallet can't take the beating anymore... Let's hope for a fat tax return this year!

Do you know if these are still USA made by Kaster/Lang?
These newer ones seem to have a different layout than the old kits.

I just bought the Craftsman 48 piece thread restorer kit a week ago, and it arrived yesterday. It is US made. If you are thinking of getting a Craftsman one, be careful as they have two sets listed on their website for almost the same price. One is 40pc and one is 48pc. The 48 piece set has several more metric thread restoration taps and dies in it.

Get this one for $59.49-

Not this one for $56.99-

If it helps at all, the Sears listing picture shows two different style blow molded cases for the same set. The 48pc set I received did not look like the main picture on the Sears website, it looks exactly like the smaller picture and/or the online picture of the 48pc Kastar set. With the set I received there is an extra little tray on the bottom left for both of the thread file rubber handles just like in the picture below.

Was in Tucson two weeks ago and stopped by Harbor Freight to pick up a 3-ton Low Profile Floor Jack and a pair of 6-ton Jack Stands. I had coupons expiring at the end of the month figure I better use them!

Yes, still USA made. You can buy it from Sears / Craftsman for around $60 or so. Or you can get it from Lang on Amazon.

Thank you all for the replies, however I was specifically inquiring about the Sealey set as that one is readily available in the UK. The Kastar/Lang branded set costs around £100/$165 here.

No idea on coo

The sealey label was poorly stuck on the box and underneath it said redline.....

What i do know is the thread files earnt their keep already replacement power steering hose for my truck at pirtek - 85 quid.

Sealey thread kit - 50

Just looked up the kastaar lang - they are the same box layout as snapon but their box is totally different to the sealey , the sealey has more in common with the neilsen set on ebay at 45 quid , im glad i didnt pay anywhere near sealey retail of £125 quid.

Thanks. Yes, the Kastar/Lang is what Snap-On and Craftsman rebrand. The old Sealey kit used to be made by them as well.
If the new Sealey kit is the same as their lower-end Neilsen one I'm not betting on it still being US made.

Sears do have a £15 shipping offer to UK...

Cheers, I saw that in the UK hot deals thread. Definitely an option to consider.

I just went to HF. Not sure why. Picked a hammer and some impacts for my truck box which I guess was the main reason. The multi meter was free.

Well, I did it. I pulled the trigger on the 56" bottom box. I ran out of time and man power so it's still in my buddies SUV until we get out of work. This damn thing weighs over 400 lbs!
