This is the SK set I picked up today for $100. It has been posted for 2 months for $200. I made an offer of $150 with no response.
Last months I picked up a full set of SAE 1/4" to 1-1/4" for $50 in the roll. It was a satin finish and had never been used.
That makes 2 very good tool wrench sets for $150. I don't know why people are asking more for Craftsman USA. I find deals like this all the time on tools. I am giving them to one of my son's No special reason. He has good wrenches. He just needs a little better. LOL

Good deal.

That hose clamp tool is nice. I just got one too. What up with all those air fittings?

Changing my whole system from M low flow to V high flow. It's something like 35 CFM vs. 70 CFM

The V fittings hit so damn hard it's unreal!

Nobody told me this tool-collecting thingy is comparable to a crack cocaine habit......

The Wera Joker set looks very interesting, what's with the "insert" in the open end? What does it do, how does it come in handy?? Have you had them for a while and besides the fact that they look great and probably German made, how is the quality and feel? how about a best place to buy (good offers) Very interested...! Thanks :)

Bought this set for $60 at a garage sale today, full of random tools and stuff. Just got done emptying it out, got probably $100 worth of tie-down straps, good ones too, and roughly $100 or so in screwdrivers, sockets, vise grips, etc.. There's a ton of still-in-the-package screws, eye bolts, random hardware, and other random ****. All in all it was a good buy I think. Diamond-plate fronts, really nice super-smooth drawer slides. Once I finish cleaning it up it's gonna be nice. Was worth the $60 just for the chest and roller.

If I ever get through rummaging the stuff from the drawers I'll take some shots of the random tools and stuff...

There's two drills and an impact driver hidden by the tool box, and more cordless stuff out of camera view. And no, I don't have enough, there's still a few more tools I want...

Went to sears for some disappointment. No Memorial day sales at all.

Did get a 31" and 36" pry bar for $60.... :shocking:

Oh well. I got them now. That 36" is a beast though!

Nice find!

It was nice just to get the chest and roller, all the stuff that was in it made it a much better find. Tons of ratcheting tie-down straps, bunch of screwdrivers and files, vise grips, sockets, all kinds of stuff. Tons of hardware, most of it still in the packaging. Made out like a bandit on this one, wish I could find stuff like this more often.

How are your battery tools hanging? Been looking for a solution for that but can't tell from the picture.

I used the old NiCad battery shells, took the battery cells out and screwed a couple of drywall screws through the bottom of the cabinet into the shells. I figure since the NiCads **** after so many years and having to keep tossing them, I'd at least get my money's worth and use them for something that would last a lifetime. I just wish I'd have thought of it before I threw away the 3 or 4 batteries that I did. I managed to keep some NiCads going even after being around 8 years old but soon those will be tool mounts too...

I picked this sucker up on sale at Lowes.

20140524_130620_zpsvfc0gs5e.jpg

Me and the wife painted the living room this weekend.

First and foremost, Unless the house is completely gutted I will never ever use this thing inside ever ever again.
The time you save (over using a roller) is really minimal, just in application. Where this gun looses all its worth is in the tons of prep and masking time. ( and I STILL got paint where I didnt want it )

All that said, we also replaced all the moldings. I painted them off the wall by them selves, out in the front yard. This gun totally kicks *** for that. 150+ feet of molding plus a coupla sills, in less than an hour.

This is not the greatest purchase I have ever made. I would have regretted the purchase if it werent for the huge success in the moldings. I have a picket fence that needs painting. It will work great for that too I am sure. I am just never using that thing inside ever again.

I thought it was pretty genius when I thought it up, dragged the wife into the garage to show off how smart I thought I was. She wasn't impressed, but then again there's not much in the garage that'll impress her unless I'm building something or fixing something...for her.

She was pretty impressed with the tool boxes though, didn't put up a fight or anything. Kinda threw me off a bit, kinda expected I'd have to throw a tantrum but it was a painless purchase.

Neighbor did something similar with hanging wine glass racks that he got from ikea, just took a tool with him and slid them in till he found one that fit.

The insert will hold a nut in the open end of the wrench while you fit it into place, will also keep the wrench from sliding off a nut or bolt head while tightening it down. There is a decent vid on Wera's site showing the features in use. I've been eyeing these for a while, just have to justify the $$$ to myself one of these days.

Managed to pick up a Di-Acro corner notcher and a Roper Whitney 218 *********** punch yesterday. Best part...$560 for the pair. I went for the notcher and got presented the punch when I got there. I love surprises.

smart and useful recycling of the battery shells there.

throwin' a tantrum is for small kids and dogs. looks like you're on the path to marital enlightenment now. ;)
