Here is a recent find. Found it in my cargo trailer. I need to replace the gauge. But it still works.

As for the uvex bio shield. I have had mine for about 3 years and I can still see through the lens. Used it for doing undercoatings. Cleaned it after every use using brake clean. Yes, I know that is one of the worst things you can use. But not much else will clean off that ****. You can get new lenses at grainger for about $8 to $10 each. I bought 2 when I got my shield.

Woo'Hoo I got those MC impact drivers.

Both sets cost in reality, $12 for the pair as I claim 60% new purchases back at work.

:rocker:

I've had the hex set for sometime now and have beat on them with no failures. Now it's time to beat on the torx with my new proto gun!:rocker:

Me too. (Except for the cool 60% back stuff.) :rocker:

And from last week's special, the 3/8 drive swivels. Interestingly, the metrics were oily, the SAEs were dry. I gave them a shot of spray penetrating oil.

Just a hex key. Bondhus 7/8" "long". Someday I might need to do the kingpins in my '79 f250.

Got me a new stripper/crimper. So much smaller than the Blue Point I have been using. The new one is on the right. Snap On PWCSS7CF.

I wanted to get that little unit awhile ago but I ended up getting a seperate stripper and a klein crimper.
The snap on combo unit looks to work good but I don't think you can get a nice crimp on larger terminals. Just doesn't seem to have the leverage

The 29CF (9.5") barely has enough for anything over 14 gauge. Nice otherwise, and much nicer than the all in one combos like he has pictured. I like mine, only pair of snap-on pliers I own. I would change a few things I guess but overall they do work well. I suggest grinding the cutter off the end though, much nicer in tight spaces. Sure you have to carry a seperate cutter around with you but once you snip a wire or two on accident when crimping something you will be glad its gone. Sure you can pay more attention, but it still takes time to make sure everythings out of the way and in tight spots its not always an option. Having that pliers cut off and using the pistol grip Blue Point stripper (or similar from other brands) lets you strip and crimp in some tight spots. I have not used the smaller version he has pictured, just the longer 29CF.

I'd like to see somebody make a higher leverage crimper. I was kind of hoping Knipex or somebody would. They have all of their high leverage diagonal cutters it would be nice if they applied that to a crimper like Snap on has. The comfort handles would be nice too.

Picked up a Fuel driver last week and its been very handy. Love it for things you don't want an impact on. Sure you can use a drill to do the task but its not very handy. Drill is bulkier and does not allow quick changeover like the driver. Assembled an entire Duramax from bare block to complete with accessories and all with it. Ran 90% of the fasteners in with it and still had 2 bars left on a battery.

Also just got the USB charger today. Use an M12 battery in it and charge phone, etc. Also has a DC power jack. I can always find USB cables but can never find the 12v or wall ends of them, plus a wall charger isn't always an option. Should come in handy once and awhile. Especially on trips where a charger isnt available or convienient. Like a plane. I actually looked up the TSA guidelines. There is no limit on batteries under 8 grams of ELC (Equivelant Lithium Content). The M12 2.0 has 1.8g, M12 4.0 has 3.6g. The extra's you carry just have to be protected from accidental activation. Although I will say that its more of cheap option to utilize batteries I already have. If you were needing something on a regular basis just for a phone or something I wouldn't run out an buy an M12 battery and this thing, far more compact solutions to that problem.

Picked up a nicer heat gun with some accessories. Probably overkill, but so are many tools.

And got another Metabo grinder for the shop. WA 11-125 Quick. 5" with autobalancer but still the lock on switch. A lot of them in the US have the paddle switch which I do not like at all. Would've gotten the W14-125 Plus but figured I'd see what the autobalancer was all about, didn't need the variable speed really just wanted the power.

Black ring is the balancer. I put brand new Metabo 4.5" grinding wheels in both the W8 and the WA11 and the vibration difference was noticeably better with the balancer. They are smooth without one to begin with. I'm sure worn wheels or different brands will make it even more noticeable. The power difference was nice. W8 does great compared to other 4.5 grinders, but you can still run out of power with 4.5 wheels, the W11 gives you the right amout but I wouldn't complain if I had a W14 either.

Right at home with the rest.

Don't remember retail, but the hammer is normally like $70, so the punches were only $50.
It's the $129.99 weekly deal he signed up for. They get random stuff sent in, to sell for th deal.

The orange piece is just a suction cup stand to mount the gun where ever. I do have nozzles for heat shrink though as well.

No we replaced a Massey Ferguson with the Fendt. Don't have Claas tractors in US, we do have one of their Jaguars though and love it.

Would love to know how you like the new crimper after a few uses. I currently have the same "all in one" setup you had and am feeling the need for an upgrade

Picked up this gearwrench 44pc sae/metric impact socket set and I'm really impressed everything is dual laser etched and also hard stamped they are made out of cr-mo and come in a very nice case with metal latches and made in Taiwan.

I did a front harness today and they worked well. I like how they are like pliers and unlike the typical ones. I still like the older ones when you can sit at a bench and make your runs, but when your in a tight spot these are great. Time will definitely tell how much I grab them, but first blush is good.
