After a bunch of internal debate, I decided to go with the Miller Dynasty 200 DX w/Foot-pedal and air cooled torch. This will be replacing my '75 Miller Econo-Twin... I got an awesome deal on a used unit and the used contractor kit, phone order, from Praxair Distribution, Inc., in Salinas, CA. These units cone with a full 90 day Miller warranty (both the welder and kit)...

It should arrive tomorrow... :)

I found Alex surfing different Craigslist cities over the weekend... trying to see what was available in used Dynasty... I got lucky. He just got 5more units in today, so I got one!

Just to pass along the info:
Anyone looking for deals on welding equipment, new or used should contact Alex: (Tell him where you found the info, he might offer a better deal)

Praxair Distribution, Inc.
920 Abbott Street
Salinas, CA 93901
Phone: 831-757-3057

I have absolutely no affiliation with them, just pleased with the deal I got.

Glen

I want those Williams ratchets. They are super nice.

For 36 tooth, they're pretty damn smooth! They'll be like butter when i put super lube in them!

The bahco dual 80 1/2 is like butter already!

This thing changed my life. Makes changing oil on motorcycles, ATVs, lawn equipment etc so much easier. Tons of different measures marked on the side....spout negatives the use of a funnel 99% of the time.

Didn't have a 1/2" breaker bar... figured 24" is better than looking for a pipe all the time.

Someone walked off with my set of super thin wrenches so it was time for a new set. My old set was made in germany. These sadly china, but they feel like they will hold my nuts when thin is needed.

Couldn't pass up the made in usa die handle for $8... Now i see it's $11 on amazon with a bad review. Oh well... I have to rethread a few things, will give it a try.

Neiko Heavy-Duty 24-Inch 1/2-Inch Drive Chrome-Vanadium Steel Breaker Bar.

V8 Tools (V8 8307) 7 Piece Super Thin Wrench Set.

Irwin USA Die Handle 1/2 price bin at ACE Hardware.

Only 1 for me today, the Wright Tool 4434 24" flex bar from the Harry J. Epstein company. This was my first purchase from them but I'm sure not my last. Amazon doesn't have this in stock plus it was $21 cheaper from Epstein.

Craftsman spade bit set marked down to $9 online, after points are free in store pickup, $3 After tax.

Then I remembered there is a Sears Outlet next door. I found a 7 pc Torx socket set (USA made) for $10, normally $40. That's cheaper than HF's Chinese set.

I hope you have better luck with those reversible snap ring pliers than me, I have a set of blue point ones and I don't rate them at all.

I hope so too. They have to be better than the walmart grade ones they are replacing but we will see. I have used the old ones a ton while restoring my 97 4runner.
