Not a tool, but I think it belongs here anyway.

Speedglas 9100 welding helmet with 9100XX (extra large) auto darkening filter and side windows. :rocker:

MSRP: $554.47

Listed on Amazon for $408 and got an unexpected 10% discount.

Total $367 with free starter kit (5 outside lenses, 2 inside lenses and a sweat band) and a welders cap.

I think I did pretty good :willy_nil

Is that your first speedglas? They are excellent you did very well. What kind of welding do you do?

I have one of those and love it. i sent one to a buddy in canada and he uses it all the time as well.

Good to hear that. My new So guy is really good. He has hard handled Screwdrivers on order for me. He is also trying to find some other ratchets, with the USA stamped on them.

Some new and used purchases

Looked at the Steinels but ended up getting this guy off warehouse deals (damaged outer packaging) for around $100 which was quite a bit less than a comparable Steinel kit. Their dial heat guns are all made in the USA but I didn't want a 8-10lb heat gun plus I like the digital setting.

PT410, purchased used. It was pretty disgusting when I got it but cleaned up really well. I was also surprised and happy to see the previous owner was greasing it.

And I scooped up a Modis kit since so many are unloading them to get the new Ultra models.

NOt too impressed with these;

Granted they were silly cheap (£2.50) but they aren't very good. They wouldn't spring back from closed when they arrived, so fixed that with a little oil. But they do take some real grip power to actually cut - all they're needed for is cutting thin steel wire (square cutting wire, about 1.2mm), and after a half dozen test cuts, the cutting jaws show signs of misshaping.

Should have bought Knipex...

Did you buy this locally or off eBay? If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay. I have been watching quite a few on eBay the last little while and they seem to go for a reasonable price. Just need to convince the wife that it is something I desperately need.

Who knows?
Lot of questions for 1foxracing today. Guess I'll add to the mix. What application will you be using the Powerbuilt Honda Adjustment tool on?

Amazon $13.85 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001C06E0C/?tag=atomicindus08-20
1foxracing,how much were the snap ring pliers? Where did you purchase them? Thanks.
Mike
Amazon $69.33, They were advertised as Kastar models but according to other reviewers they received Lang's as well. They have good reviews so I went with them. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005MVB6TG/?tag=atomicindus08-20

Just picked these up from Cornwell. Witte Picks. And a set of Metric Wrenches to Replace my Husky Wrenches I was using. Pretty nice upgrade to be honest.

Small one today, this was the last thing from my Amazon order from yesterday and was shipped from a different warehouse. I still work on many carb equipped motorcycles and use spring clamps on the fuel lines so these should come in handy.

My Channellock collection is pretty small but I'll probably add to it Friday during the Epstein event. Klein still makes the best lineman pliers so I won't be replacing those.

Found these while browsing eBay.. $82 shipped, which probably isn't a super deal but cheaper than new which is good when you're as tight as I am right now [emoji16] and in good condition!

Picked these up today as I left my cheapo utility knife somewhere in the shop and haven't found it. Also my Robertson #2 bits for my 1/4 hex gun have suddenly sprouted legs and walked out of my box, so picked these up today for $20.

Edit: excuse the woman's hand didn't realize it was in the picture! She was saying, "you said you were only going in for a look" lol

sorry for photo but camera is fuggered up. I went to warranty the 1/2 cman ratchet this morn and was going to check out the 1/4" flex head, and this is what i went with for $13 less. I could not believe that the craftsman was $38.

Williams m-52ehfa, very smooth, no rattles, and USA made.

Today I received my 5 Craftsman hammers for $39.99. The all are USA made and look good, my understanding is they are made by Vaughan. I like Sears and hope the can pull through and stick around. They need to re-think their shipping though, I can understand double boxing when shipping orders but the outer box was way oversized and surrounded with those air bags. This was hammers,, not a laptop.
