Uh-oh. I put the Wright 3/8 drive in a 1/4 ratchet body on my Amazon wish list. A few weeks later I got one from Snap-On. Well I forgot to take it off my Amazon wish list.
My birthday is Friday. Today in the mail from my brother in law was this....
The Snap-On is at work and the Wright is here at home, I have yet to do a side by side, but right off the bat the Snap-On FEELS better built. Tighter head and more secure.
I will take it to work tomorrow and do a side by side.

Lots of tools lately for me. Last set of things I got was a set of wrenches and picks. Today I ended up with a set of Craftsman pinch pliers, some drill bits I found for $2.00, and again from the Cornwell guy a set of AC manifold Gauges. No more stuff until next check I promise lol. Oh and not pictured I bought a light blue wrench rack for my wrenches I bought.

Got these in the mail today....all Craftsman, Made in USA tools!! Had some points and a gift card so I only spent $15.00 for this out of pocket!

I love the feel of the reversible craftsman wrenches, they switched to China afaik.

She's a keeper for sure. I had to endure Jay Z with Beyoncé the other night at Gillette so I told her she owed me. Jay Z alone would have been fine....we travel quite a bit to watch him, but the Beyoncé segment of the crowd was nuts.

That was probably more like the real reason and she covered it up with the gun. Now if I got **** and the gun I would truly be the master of my domain instead of living in my wife's world.
I would rather have my toenails removed with needle nose. No way I could sit there.

Saw this here... looked interesting... LINK Arrived today. It holds sawzall blades and driver bits. Very Useful !!!
I used to have a "back saw" I used to cut holes in wood lath walls. It only cut on the back stroke, preventing pushing the lath forward away from the plaster. Anyway... with this handle... any wood sawzall blade + this handle, you got a back saw. Use a metal blade... you get a nifty hack saw.
The handle also twists into a pistol grip. MADE IN GERMANY with a Craftsman logo and part number 47450 but is not sold at sears.
"Endure" is nowhere near a strong-enough verb for sitting through those two.
She owes you Big-Time. Or, so I would tell my spouse. She's a keeper, too, 'cuz she would simply say, "Ok!"

Dad over a decade ago saw a set of these by Craftsman and had always wanted a set. even back then the person that had them bought them at some craftsman clearance center. We never saw them in a store or catalog. after a long seach I picked these up off of Ebay for him.

It had a high buy it now price, but I made a super lowball offer and I couldn't believe they accepted it. Free shipping too! There's nothing wrong with it other than a few scratches and no manual.
I've been wanted this for years. Can't wait to use it.

Hate to say it but most of what you bought from the MATCO truck is just rebranded Lisles and other tool makers. You could have saved some $ but you still got that fancy MATCO label on the cases...

Truck rebranded tools warranty surpass OEM warranty in service.
Trusty-Cook deadblow ballpein hammers are 2 years (plus downtime for shipping and postage fees), Matco lifetime and delivered to you at work.
Working 8-10 hours a day, 5-6 days a week (plus commute), on neglected machineries leaves very little "me" time, family time and time for errands. And to squeeze warranty errands and tool shopping on the limited free time? I'd rather **** it up and make payments and only have one phone number to call when shits hit the fan at work.

I understand that. But being that I get the student discount it actually works out better than purchasing from the OEM manufacturer. Plus the Matco truck comes regularly and makes warranty easier.
