Will try the local Fastenhal tomorrow as they do not ship to Canada. Looks like they might come in handy someday, even just to use them as stubby ratchet wrenches. Whats the deal with the standard set? Have to order a box of 6?

Those look neat. If they offer the SAE at the same price I might think about it. I hate it when you get either the SAE or metric on a "special" price but the other is either not available or is full price!

Yeeeeaah,

Don't tell the wife, but I ordered one as well. I've been wanting a set for a while, but the Snappy's are way too expensive for me.

Here's hoping they clearence out the SAE set too!

I am thinking about biting the bullet and ordering a set. Did any of you see the 39pc set that has some of the heads in it also> nothing says anywhere what is included in that set.

SUNEX TOOLS 2645 - 26 pc. Standard Metric Impact Socket Set

Bought this from Amazon for 85 dollars. These sockets are heavy duty, well made, and quality is on par with snap on. Worth every penny spent! Love it!

Ok I got curious about the SAE and the actual price. I have never been in a Fastenal store or done business with them I just picked up the phone call the store close to me and ordered both set directly through them. Guess what the Standard set was sold to me cheaper than the Metric yep got both sets a coming!!!

How in the world does your guy have em but my dealer can't get them to save his life. *****...

I had my dealer check the stock again. Snap-On has 100+ sets of screwdrivers in those three colors in stock.

Is that your first speedglas? They are excellent you did very well. What kind of welding do you do?

I had a cheap ADF helmet (Harbor Freight style) and after 3 years the battery inside went flat. I repaired it, but I still wanted something better and I think Speedglas is as good as it gets. Love the side windows...
I mostly do MIG (sheetmetal repair).

Ok... new stuff that just arrived today...

Do you have the model number for the set? Price?

Looks to be a mix with the single stubby flat head and 5 torx drivers.
Looks to be a mix of these sets:

49020 6pc Professional Screwdriver Set
49300 5pc Professional Screwdriver Set
49305 4pc Professional Stubby Screwdriver
49302 7pc Professional Torx Set

All are also available through SK. Some people don't seem to be fans of them (whether it's the grips or the shafts), but I love my Craftsman Pros/SKs, they're my go-to screwdrivers.

got a part number/price for the SAE set?

Now I wish they sold just the SAE wrench sections..don't need two of the t-handles and all the accessories ha ha.

Just got these. Not really tools, but they are at least tool related :).
350 washers and 128 nuts. Not bad for a total of 5 euros :).
Also bought a cheap 7 piece screwdriver set. They aren't great quality, but I already have the top brands so I thought I would just buy them since they were made of S2 steel and they were only 5 euros. You can't have enough screwdrivers :D

Truckload Milwaukee sale from a local supply house. $125 trade in on any old comparable cordless drill/battery/charger combo, free extra 4.0 Ah battery, free sawzall. All 18v Fuel line stuff. Still waiting for the 12v stuff I ordered to come in.
Sorry about the crappy pic, my cell phone was all I had at the time.

Today when I left work I needed to stop at my bank that is a just down the street from the local Harbor Freight store. The road has a center turn lane and I spot a bag laying in the middle of the lane. I pulled up next to the bag and noticed harbor freight on it. open it up and both of these were inside. Somebody must have put it on their roof, on top of the trunk, or in a open pickup bed and drove off.
I looked on the receipt to see if they charged it and I know some stores print your name on the receipt, they paid cash and used a 20% coupon as well so they won't be out to much $.

I opened it up when I got home and the pass through ratchet feels pretty smooth and the sockets actually look pretty nice! I can use the tweezers too, my day job is manufacturing parachutes and I use 17 different industrial sewing machines. The tweezers will come in handy when re-threading some of the machines.

In my home box now.
