Thanks for the info.Just ordered the matching SAE set. Had to call around to find a Fastenal that had it in stock, but the SAE set is $36.
How is that set? I wanted to get it, but I could not find any reviews on it. Hard to pull the trigger on 100 dollars worth of tools when you know nothing about them.
Mainly I was wondering how the ratcheting mechanisms were, if they had plenty of teeth and can hold up to lots of force pushing, pulling etc
This helps a lot, thanks. I do not think I will be getting them. I like having quality tools that I know will work every time and not breakMine arrived and it's OK at the discounted price. Box says 72 tooth mechanism. I haven't counted to verify. As someone already pointed out, the ratcheting "heads" are in a couple of sizes with spacers to make the ratcheting mechanism fit. See my quick photo.
Overall, I'd say it's on par with a Taiwan Harbor Freight item, nice for the price, but deep down there's a nagging feeling that the features/quality meets the price point. I wish they had included a 3/8" square Male to Male adapter to make the swiveling T-bar work with a 3/8" socket.
Other notes: Chrome is decent, not quite par with Gearwrench, the fit of the 3/8" drive ends is ok, but a bit on the sloppy side - detent balls don't hold the parts tight. The plastic case is pretty bad, I'd have preferred a blow-molded arrangement. I didn't have a set of ratcheting flex stubbies in Metric, hence the purchase…kinda of thinking waiting for a set of GW flex stubbies may have been a better plan.

scrap iron came today
That looks like the mityvac reboxed and rebranded.

Thanks man, I agree! I couldn't resist, as I've been using them this evening to pull apart a Dana 44 front axle, and they are awesome! Perfect mix of ideal leverage and performance radius!ez red ratchets have served me well MrJason. i have the extendable set and a 24 inch flex head that i use on the daily and they are great you will enjoy those ratchets
You're going to like how organization feels, those organizers are perfect!
Ordered several Ernst wrench racks for my box. I have gotten the organization bug and just cannot seem to stop!
Here are the Jonnesway T-Bar ratching wrench sets. I will so I do disagree on the quality. I have Gear wrench brand stuff that feels about the same. I think the mail thing to remember is even though they have the log T-bar they are in essence stubby wrench with the ability to be a ratcheting crowsfoot. Neither of which are designed for super amounts of torque.
Here is what the sizes are on the Metric set
start with 8mm and stops at 19mm with no skips
I ordered mine through a local Fastenal price was same as web $43.63 + tax
Here is what sizes are in the SAE set (does not show this anywhere I could find online)
Start with 5/16 and ends at 3/4 no skips.
Online does not give you the ability to order them only shows as a case purchase with the msrp of 1 set at something like 212.00. The local Fastenal looked them up and ordered them for 36.87 + tax.
They do charge shipping same as you would pay online and the shipping came out to $10.48
So in total I paid 97.35 for them. My main gripe is no with the wrenches but the boxes they are bulky and will take up alot of space. Even if you take the tray out of the box it is still bulky. I think for the 97.35 They are a good deal for what is in essence 2 sets of wrenches for the cost of 1

Very nice! Im due for a new bed.....

Eklind ball hex set from Menards, with the rebate, it will only be 1 dollar.
They were sold out of SAE, though.
Whoa, what shops? I am also in Edmonton
I picked up another Milwaukee fuel impact kit today, along with another free battery. This little guy should go good with the big impact I bought a few months ago. Lol. I also picked up two more spare chainsaw chains.
I have had that set over 10 years and it's served me well.Eklind ball hex set from Menards, with the rebate, it will only be 1 dollar.
