Nice set. I wish I had a ratcheting t-handle like that. Very useful.

So I've been in need of a new set of snips for a while, and I wound up with a set of Milwaukee's new aviation snips.

All they had at the store was the regular Wiss set, a non-name set, and the Milwaukee set. The Wiss set had a non-offset straight cut snip, which I don't like. (the pic is from Milwaukee's site. My set had an offset straight cut snip which is what I wanted) I've had excellent luck with anything Milwaukee I've ever purchased, so I figured they were worth a shot. First impressions are good- I really like the flush joint fastener for cutting clearance, and the hard chrome on the jaws is nice touch. My old Wiss snips would get pretty rusty.

I use my snips a lot so durability is big for me on this particular tool. I'm hoping they will hold up, as I like the feel and the design.

Also via the free SK hat promo thread. They included a 20mm wrench just for the hell of it. Very cool of them.

Yesterday was expensive! I upgraded my HF 4-drawer cart to a KRSC326FPU. I'm still getting it filled and organized, I'll post drawer pics next week.

I also bought a 10-19mm set of Snap-on Flank Drive Plus combo wrenches, SOEXM710.

Stopped by Sears, had some good sales on the local ad so I got away pretty cheap. Craftsman Professional Vise (China), 10" Pipe Wrench (USA), Staple Gun (USA), 16" Pro Screwdriver (USA), Two sets of toolbags (China.) all for around $100 after coupons and points back.

Fiiiiiinally received a CT8810. Ever since the US got them (November?) I've been hassling my dealer every time he comes into the shop. I was originally told February, then it just kept dragging on and on. He saw on the system that some were in stock, then off again, then on again, till finally he was able to get one.
Apatrantly they are not even going to continue with these in Australia, instead using the NiCad CT4418. So I've got one of five in the country!

I picked up a brand new sealed Bostitch 246pc mechanics toolset for $90 off of CL. Usually retails for ~$200. Should make a nice track day toolset.

Nice haul - What kind of work do you do?

Thanks! I'm an assembly supervisor for an industrial robotics company. It's primarily an office job, but I get my hands dirty on special projects, R&D work, new fixture design, and equipment repair. The FDP wrenches are for home, I build custom cars as a hobby.

After points, discounts and closeouts this was 30 bucks. Yes that is a 1/2 inch drive. It was marked "used" but looks brand new to me. All US made not that I'd care.
