That SK flex head is a nice ratchet. I have a mini 3/8 ratchet that sees a lot of use. Very smooth.

NAPA actually re-brands Sunex impact sockets. My 3/8 and 1/2 are NAPA's also. Damn OCD

Working on upgrading my tools on a tight budget. Starting with 3/8" regular and deepwell sockets. Upgrading from mostly Alltrade, a large set my dad gave me in the 80s. Many deepwells are Kobalt.

Yeah, but don't laugh too hard they've actually done alright for many largish shade tree jobs. It's that 90% give or take thing. I think the single most important thing is a complete set first.

So anyway, I'd prefer 6 point here in the land of rust but budget says no, not yet. I searched and searched online and decided to get the NOS SK spline sockets.

4 separate buys, ending up with an almost complete metric & SAE reg & deepwell set for less than $100 delivered total. Missing a couple, 9/16 deep & 13/16 reg, 13, 16, 19mm reg, I'll fill'em in with six point. Overall I'm happy and looking forward to giving them a real workout.

Wrenches next, budget says oof.
