Was on the snap on truck last week and asked about air hose swivel adapters and he said they were $30. Saw these in Princess Auto today for $10 so grabbed two. Never thought they would make that much of a difference but they really do!!

The Mac drill is the same as dewalt FYI. Also the battery's are the same so you can interchange.

I'm fully aware the battery's are interchangeable and that the drills are the same how ever my mac dealer said that the higher up people told him the dewalt ones are more for carpenters and the mac ones are more chemical resistant.

Exchanged a crappy wrench for a nice 9/16 and picked up a 5/16 stubby flathead and a handy cut for cutting air and water hoses at work.

No offense, but that was someone who knew you didn't know either, so he could have told you they would safeguard you against the zombie apocalypse, because, again, he didn't know either.

Nothing against you, but I just hate it when people make up ****, because they can. Just the other day, a guy at Napa said the jack my buddy just bought settled so quickly because it's in the new federal regulation. I threw the ******** flag, and upon review from anyone in the room with any common sense, they agreed that was not possible. Still, he wouldn't back down, but I have yet to find any news on such rules.

On a side note... nice drill!

Not a big haul today, but I had fun in the process.

Lowes, had a huge paint spill and all staff was on deck to clean up.

Made out really well on a few things.

These wrenches, normally $19.99, were marked down to $9.98. Naturally, I bought two of each SAE/Metric.

Then, I found these screwdrivers, normally $7.99 were bright down to $2.28 each. I bought all three remaining on the shelf. Including these Green Stanley pliers, normally $19.99 down to $6.98.

By this time, the store was clearing out. Paint fumes, were ridiculous. When I got to the register, it was a manager doing the job. He asked "Are the fumes keeping you from staying in with us? " I told him yes.

He then says, "I'm sorry, but want to make sure you come back. I'm going to take an additional 30% of off your order. Please come back and see us. "

Slight headache is feeling better, knowing that manager, did something he didn't have to, to make my shopping experience memorable.

Happy Sunday!

So, what you are saying is that if we spill paint in Lowe's we can get a discount?

How much are we talking? I have moral issues with more than 5 gallons, but I have a buddy that doesn't.
I didn't take a picture, but found one to give you an example by.

The entire paint aisle, had standing white paint. Easily 1/2" of paint all through the aisle, and leaked out past both end caps for 10 feet. Huge, complicated mess. Imagine the above picture, 10x as bad.

All I was told, is that it was caused by forklift error.

Continue to be impressed with Tekton. While some of the stuff may be the same as HF the finish is far superior.

Nothing fancy or high end, but it will do for my purposes. Got a reasonable deal on it. Mid 40s with tax and all. For some reason it is hard to find a decent deal on a chop or band saw in this town. This one doesn't look like it has been used much at all.

That blowgun is awesome ^^^ The hanging hook breaks off real easy though.

yeah i have always heard they are great!

Looks like a rebadged cyclone.
ya figures pshhh

Love those rainbow Matco ratchets. I always wondered how the finish holds up.

The chrome is good. If you are asking about the handles the green part is hard green plastic, and the black is a medium compound rubber. This combination works much better than all soft handles.

lol welcome to the club. I seen the ratchet and had to have it.

I also have that blow gun with several different attachments. Works pretty good however it is pretty loud and I sometimes get yelled at work for using it :fawk:
