LDR 020 9645 Pressure Gauge, 3/4-Inch IPS, 200 lb. Pressure (Made in China)

After cracking a seam in one of my EZ-Flo drip irrigation fertilizer tanks, I was curious what my water pressure was.

I like how this gauge not only reads the current pressure but also records the maximum pressure over time. While don't have anything else to compare it with to ensure it's accuracy, it seems to be fairly accurate for an $11 gauge.

The red max needle is really sensitive to vibrations. A slight tap on the gauge will cause the needle to move, so I don't a lot of confidence in the maximum readings.

I was getting tired of using a mish mash of 3/8 sockets in my main box because, well, I like full and complete sets of things. So I got this today as my main 3/8 set.

This one is made in Taiwan. It is nice. I just used the stubby ratchet to replace an exhaust manifold heat shield and wow that thing is awesome.

pulling battery hold downs from battery compartments. I use the ratchet to break the bolt loose and then can just use the handle to loosen it up and then makes it easy to snug them back up when putting the new batteries back in .

Mind if I ask what application you are using these in?

New vice grips. Not made in USA sadly, but for $9 with my girlfriend's Rona discount I can't complain.

The latest limited-run snappy stuff, thanks to a member here who got me a pair since I don't have frequent access to a truck.

First off, hello! I am new to the forums... been lurking here for about a month and 1/2 as I've been gathering information and ideas. I am currently in the process of starting to really flesh out my tool collection with what I need for work and for play.

I am a big fan of German tools so you'll be seeing much of that from me. Here's my recent pick-ups....

Knipex, NWS, and WERA pieces. EDIT: Zyklop 3/8 Metric SB 2, Joker Metric 11 piece.

I've been digging through the sears clearance bins for the past few weeks and have picked up a number of new tools at good prices. But tonight, I got what I would call a steal. I picked up a 12 v lithium ion dewalt drill with a battery for 75% off the clearance price of $95ish ($25ish total). Went to look for a battery charger for it, since it did not include one, and ran into spare batteries, originally $45 a piece marked down to $10. Got all of it for the price of the bare tool alone. I'll have to buy a charger, but they are pretty reasonable on ebay. This will be good for close quarters or when I want to use something lighter than my 18v set.

Just picked these up, or ordered them rather, from Sears. It was actually by accident that I bought two of the 3/8" ratchets. I'm not sure how that happened. Not paying close attention to the order I guess.

It was interesting to note that the two 3/8" drive ratchets are 100% identical in every way (even took them apart with I got them, just to peak). The exception: one is stamped "Craftsman" and one is stamped "Craftsman Industrial". I bought these just to have, because I had read somewhere that Craftsman was discontinuing this ratchet, but this may actually be somewhat of an indication that "Craftsman" will stop selling them, but will continue under the name "Craftsman Industrial". Idk. But here they are.

I want that set. Just can't justify spending the money for it at the moment. I bought a bunch of American Vermont USA made taps from a Flea market for $1 a piece recently.

We have a shop one that they bought from ATD because a Snap on or Irwin set was to expensive. They break all the time and people loose them so it was time for my own set.
What kills me is this only goes to 1/2" I need all the way to an inch but mostly 19mm, 20mm,22mm and 24mm.
The taps are around $40-60 a piece from fastenal. The only set going to those sizes I have found is from mac (dont like mac) and they are $200 a set

Irwin 97311 for Metric and 98000 for SAE.

They're expensive, but that should take care of your needs up to 24 mm or 1 inch. (is 19mm a typo?)
