I see fur on the side of the pic, is that the inspector

My "inspector master" furry creature also does me the favor of marking all new tools with his scent, that way none of the guys are work will confuse my tools with thiers. :D

Decided to buy some brake tools from the flea market today. Had been looking at Cornwell and Matco's sets that are like $100 or more and I don't even think they were made in the USA.

I had to bite the pillow on these SK NOS wrenches. $140, Kinda expensive but they will probably never be produced again. ASFAIK Gearwrench doesn't plan on making them. Don't know of any other manufacturer that makes these deep offset ratcheting wrenches. In the U.S. or overseas.

How does the quality seem on them?

Got the mechanics seat for $19.99, the mini pliers set $8 (although made in China still a great deal), and the metric 3/8 sockets for $13.99 (made in USA).

It's been a pretty good weekend!

That setup almost looks like it is medical equipment.

If medical equipment is expensive and high quality, then yes. If you haven't heard of Festool, I'd take a look at it. Quite possibly some of the most well designed and engineered tools when the tools are used together as a system. 3 months ago, I had no clue what Festool was.

Stopped by a hardware store I'd never been to before (yesterday), they had a bin of Enderes items that were marked down so I bought a few. I guess they didn't know Enderes was back in business, all of their chisels and punches are now Dasco Pro.

HF composite ratchets. I also bought some snap ring pliers, a pneumatic engine cleaner, a set of roll head pry bars, 1/2 to 3/8 impact extensions, scissors, and a freebie multimeter.

The HF composite ratchets are one of the few exceptions I make as far as China origin. They are great. Cheap, light, ergonomic, and the ratcheting mechanism is both fine and very smooth.

Not a fan of metal rails that won't stand alone so I put them on a extra Wright that I had.

Those HF composite ratchets are rapidly becoming my "go to's". Great for working around painted objects such as auto body panels where a metal ratchet can easily chip the paint if not careful!

I picked up a few tools from an ex tool and die maker. Mostly center marking tools which I find I use a lot when restoring older machinery I buy.

:) How do you like the light? I may buy one of those.

I love mine! Bought it 1.5 years ago and it's been in my shirt pocket every day since (I work nights...a light is a must!).

I would like it to be a little brighter...but I use mine to look in the nose of 53' trailers while standing on the dock. Using one in an automotive garage is much better suited for this light.

Look at a Fenix LD22, much much brighter (Lights up a 53' quite nicely) and only barely bigger

I have been looking at Fenix for a while now...albeit their larger lights.

The LD22 looks nice, but have you seen the E25? Smaller, more powerful, and cheaper  Even more-so...check out the E35UE

I'd like something that will still fit in the shirt pocket on my uniform if I can help it.
