I see your kitty likes to "help" out, mine is the same. Always trying to get in between me and what I'm trying to do.

Had to order some new cleco pliers since i somehow lost my other pair, a whole $6 ish dollars, made in taiwan but feel pretty well made. also grabbed some side grip cleco clamps i've been meaning to grab, and threw in a few dozen more 1/8 pins since theyre cheap and you can never have too many. I've always wondered, is a hollow shaft a good thing? And why, if someone knows?

Yes as explained by the others, anytime you need to thread a nut down a long threaded rod.

Are those bit sockets also Wiha? If so, how do you like 'em?

Yes they are, first impression is kind of "meh" when compared with my Snap on bit sockets. Have to see how they work out, hoping the bits are as good as their drivers.

I wonder who makes these ?
Handle says "molded in Taiwan".
No other stampings on the tools.
Nothing on the package.
They look like May???.

Reconditioned Ryobi 9.6v drill.

$10. 1 year warranty on everything. Should take light duty hole drilling easily.

Thanks to all of the GJ members that have taken the time to answer my questions about ratcheting wrenches / spanners and help me make the decision to purchase a Great Set. My Facom 467 just arrived today :)

These two ratcheting wrenches came home with me yesterday.

It's 8 socket sizes in two wrenches. 8mm/10mm and 12/13mm on one, and 18mm/19mm and 14mm/17mm on the other. I know it's not SO or some other truck brand, but it's fine for something I can throw in the motorcycle tool kit. The only downside I can see is that there's no obvious way to disassemble the wrenches for cleaning.

Finally broke down and bought a drill / impact driver combo. Ryobi One + was what I finally went with. May add the circular saw in the future...probably the only other construction tool I use.

Not really a tool....but I picked up this cabinet on CL the other day for $40.

I love the deep bottom shelf and those pull out drawers are great for sandpaper and scuff pads.

You can see I've already partially insulted the bottom....I've got plans for a heated storage area in the bottom.

The impact sockets and a set of SK 1/2" extensions came from National Tool Warehouse. $392.73 with free shipping (Had a coupon). The Milwaukee came from Tool Barn for $209 without the batteries/case (bought the batteries separately from Amazon).

New Milwaukee 2763 and some new SK 1/2 drive impacts.

I just used mine for the first "serious" job - front brakes on my car. It has fantastic power, I just wish it was a bit smaller and lighter. That said it did reach all the bolts I needed it to, although I needed to use a universal in a couple of places.
