Today's haul is my new EZ red extendable 3/4" ratchet and a new 4" axle nut socket.

Is that stout enough to function as a breaker bar? It looks beefy enough but I'd be worried the ratcheting mechanism would fail.

It'll bend in half well before the ratcheting mechanism breaks. Don't ask me how I know that but let me tell you it takes a whole lot to do. Haha.

But yes I use it and all my ratchets as breaker bars. I honestly don't even own an actual breaker bar.

I mostly use the 3/4" to torque head bolts to the required angle because international likes to stuff engines as far back under the cab as they can so I can't fit an impact on the bolts on some trucks so I use this for the final torque so it doesn't get abused like my other tools.

Heated hoodie from Home Depot, 3/8 fuel impact and a long flex head snap on ratchet that I scored from a pawn shop.

I love how they put on it "cordless".
Now I know when I see a guy going down the street with an extension cord coming out of his ***...he must not have gotten the cordless version.

Post up how that grease gun works for you. Been eyeballing one if I go back to working on trucks. Better than wrestling a roller can and air hose around.
It's been good so far. I wouldn't call it underpowered because it pumps the grease just fine. Just takes a little longer than the big shop air powered one. Not a whole lot longer but to properly do a u-joint for example takes a good 15 seconds of pumping. A fine trade off in my eyes for the portability and ease of use. Plus it's my own so it's always clean unlike our shop unit which is...:eyecrazy:

Please let me know how that jacket is. More pics would be appreciated of the jacket, both on and off a person. I really want to pick up a heated jacket after last year.

Few other pictures of the sets as attachments, don't want to take up too much screen real estate.

How much did the hoodie set you back? Did you get the kit with batteries/charger or just the jacket? I've wanted one for a while but no one local has them in stock. I don't really want to buy online.

The oil wrenches I got at Kmart $4.99 each, but free after reward points.

The welder is a gift my wife gave me to use at home.

IMO that space looks like they just molded in a compartment for keeping odds in as the box was a bit bigger than it needed to be, you see this quite often.

Yeah, a little to blurry.

Great chrome on the outside, satin(ish) finish inside.

All over good sockets.

Good info. We had a guy that worked at a dairy, so he wouldn't let his truck get greased all over by the shop can. He bought a John Deere branded cordless that was great. Definitely took a little longer, but it was nice to not have grease all over the floor (and yourself) after barely hitting the trigger on the air gun.:eyecrazy:

Might go the M18 route for the grease gun, but only time (and work) will tell.

I have fought air brake push to connect fittings for too long...

Those are awesome! I am well aware of the PITA those push/pull lines can be (either won't let go, leak when installed, or just have to cut them off thanks to all the teeth mark damage from people yanking on them with pliers).

How much you want to bet some old timer modified a set of automatic wire strippers to separate air lines and someone else made a lot of money off of it?

Have you tried them on nuts & bolts that have been rounded off by bolt butchers & have they gripped well ?

I am quite interested in how that scraper ends up working on aluminum decks/heads. Please let us know once you get a chance to try it out

I have an almost identical scraper from KD. Might have to look into the replacement packs of those plastic blades. I could see those being pretty useful if they work well.

Not really a tool but it's part of my snap on toolbox. Black and grey camo style handle for the end of the box. Should look sharp once I get the handle ends back from powdercoat
