Could not pass it up for the price. 3/8 drill, 2 batteries, charger and case.

Kind of a sick deal there.

I have that drill and I am quite pleased.

Good to know. Better question is anybody got any idea how much these wrenches usually go for? I have never seen anyplace selling them.

I haven't personally ever seen those wrenches either.

I have no idea their value/cost.

Birthday presents for me, 24 inch aluminum pipe wrench and 3/8 drive roto head ratchet. Bout the only one I could find without a comfort grip. I hate comfort grips.
dd2b6894506bf2fafc0d3d43ff1ed6e7.jpg

i was looking at that ratchet on new years day, me and the women went to lowes to buy some missing sockets i needed and to get out the house. really wish i bought the kobalt roto over the HF. the HF one is very well made its just not as smooth as the kobalt. cant justify spending money on them to replace the HF once since i dont use them that often. maybe if the kobalts go on sale ;)

My Snap-on guy had some awesome end of the year sales going on, so I took advantage and upgraded some of my stuff. Just waiting on 2 more wrenches that were out of stock to complete the set.

Latest purchases. Most are for new job starting Monday, some are for home tool box. I will post results of the various tools when I get time to play with them. I have never owned any German tools other than a pair of Knipex cutters and those still haven't left the tool box since arriving.

Wiss snips on sale @ Home Depot $9

Channellocks Snap Ring Pliers, Makita impact socket set @ Home Depot $19

Milwaukee impact bit holder and phillips bits,Wera Kraftform Kompact,
Felo ESD electronics screwdriver set (grey handles)

Felo torx set (blue handles)

Wera stainless insulated screwdriver set

Felo screwdriver set (yellow and black handles)

Felo E-Smart insulated screwdriver set (red and yellow handle)

And finally Knipex Cobras 10" not shown... And that is all my wallet could afford right now. More to come :rocker:

I have those channel lock 927's. Great snap ring tool.

Is that to go around a crank to tap the seal in?

Pieces on left are spacer cups, large circle in the middle is a cap, little circles are bushings for bolts, cups on the right are for seal sizes. Puller is for removal. Its not made to be hit, its made to press. Most of the pieces are aluminum.

facom 3/8" ratchet, carry case was a surprise. Ebay listing was for the ratchet, extension and universal joint. I love my 1/4" Facom so I had to grab a 3/8" Probably snag a 1/2" as well to complete the set.

I've been on a bit of a Husky binge lately.
I didn't think they stocked anything worthwhile until I actually starting looking around...
I'm planning on going back and picking up the flare nut wrenches tomorrow.

The flex wrenches are made by Apex/Gearwrench and are absolutely identical to gearwrench. Fit and finish is very nice. The mechanism is the typical China gearwrench, identical to most everyone else.
Those were on sale for $15 a set.

I'm not sure who the stubbies are made by.
I think most of the Husky stuff still comes from Stanley.
They came in the big 28 piece set for $13. I'll probably throw the regular combos in my Jeep.

Fit and finish on these is good except for the 5/8 which is a little boogered on the side. I'm not sure if I'll bother exchanging it yet. It doesn't bother me that much.

Sorry some of the pictures are a little blurry, I didn't feel like hauling my camera out, so I just used my phone.

It is actually pretty easy to use. Slide the puller rods on the seal at 90* the slide the pullers parallel with the crank. Put the puller assembly on the pullers and tighten bolt. Seals come right out if the puller rods don't slip off. To install put the seal in place and the proper seal cup then spacer if needed. (usually is.) Then the cap and crank bolt adapter (smaller ones) put crank bolt on and tighten. Seal goes in with no problem. Yup, I have a set similar to that one and have used it a few times. Mostly to install front crank seals and cam seals. It does come with instructions. At least mine did

where did you get the gearwrench and stubby torx if you dont mind...very similar the th Kobalt for $10. I like the gearwrench too.

Amazon.. I noticed a few other brands that looked just like it after I ordered. The one I got was about $17 delivered, so I can't complain

Need it for some tight access to some torx bolts.. just hoping it works so I don't have to rip half a car apart to get better access to one bolt (AC compressor clutch)

Stubby torx set and gearwrench bit ratchet thing.

Stupid question but do u plan on keeping the VIM set in the case or putting them on the rail. Only reason I ask is I just got some VIM Xzn bits and the case is nice but I think I'm gonna put them in rails to save space

I usually leave them in the case but that's more because I'm working out of bags right now.. no garage where I'm living :(

If I had a nice big toolbox to put them in I'd probably put them on rails instead

(speaking of which.. I love the Ernst twist lock rails.. I need to order some more)

Things are tight in my boxes... I would stick em on rails. 1 exception... I have the 14 piece 1/2 drive impact sockets still in their case.

So I traded in my last matco 1/4 torque wrench. I really like the snap-on and now I have all three. 1/4 3/8/ 1/2 It is a little bit longer but the teeth are closer So I can still get in tighter places
