A few things off the SO truck today...

10 piece Flank Drive Plus SAE combo wrenches.... to match the 10 piece metric set I bought last week.

attachment.php

SO 1/4 drive flex ratchet. I just noticed this one does NOT say USA on it. Must be old stock from a while back when they thought it might be a good idea to foget the USA stamp. Not sure whats going on. My driver had a pile of these on the truck today.

And this metric offset Stahlwille set showed up on the brown truck today.

Looks like the Germans need to send their guys to Snap-On Skewl to learn how to properly finish a piece after forging. Pathetic.

I've bought 5 brand new SO ratchets off the truck within the last 3 months and all of them say USA except for the one I got today. :dunno:

returned the underhood led light I bought from Harbor Freight and got some hydraulic jack oil, and this stuff

Finally drank the HF composite ratchet kool aid and got a 1/2" and 3/8" version. Probably would have gotten the 1/4" too but they were out. They also finally had some of the solid drawer liner in the bigger 18x72 size so I grabbed a roll to check it out. Good stuff! I had two drawers in my Snap On box where the liners were long gone. So I trimmed up a piece for one of the drawers and put it in. Grips good! And looks so much better than the stuff that came in it. Its the old style, hard thin foam looking drawer liners they used to use. Crappy, they bunch up and are slippery. I really like this stuff, I think I want to redo the whole box now!

Im digging the composite ratchets too. I already put them to the test tearing the drivers side front suspension apart on my Fusion searching for a squeak that has been driving me crazy. They are all nice and dirty now, lol. I was banging on the 1/2" too breaking some bolts loose just to see how it would do. I like it! In fact I almost like it better than all my snap on stuff. Its funny, I recently got a couple of F80s and a T72 and I am almost afraid to use them because they are so clean and in great shape. I still find myself reaching for one of my old craftsman or one of the older snappy ratchets I have so I dont get the dual 80's dirty! lol. These composite ratchets were so cheap though I was like screw it, lets put them to work! I like em, grips are good too for really wrenching on stuff. I think after exchanging the underhood light (which sucked by the way) I paid 4 bux out of pocket. Money well spent.

Its been awhile since ive carried a pocketknife, so i decided to treat myself to my first Kershaw. Not very expensive but seems like a nice piece. Im thinking i may supplement it with a leatherman crunch in the near future.

what tools are you referring to specifically so we can roll our eyes into the back of our heads

Just use the "ignore" feature. With all the negative troll junk he posts, I'm sure Trony will be happy to know he has the honor of occupying the first spot in my list.

Was missing a t60 torx socket from my collection so I grabbed this today.
They make it in 1/2" and 3/8" and I know for a faster that requires a t60 is gonna require a lot of torque but the 1/2" drive one was huge. Compared to the 3/8" drive one.
I decided on the 3/8" one because if I need to use a 1/2" ratchet I can stick an adapter on the end and it ends up being the same size as the 1/2" driver.
Opinions on this?

When I bought my first T60 all I found was 1/2". I bought a like new Snap on T60 1/2" a few months ago, and it's twice the size of my one piece Matco. You're covered by warranty if any of the pieces fail, but if there's clearance to work, I would prefer 1/2".

I bought that ratchet in 3/8" on eBay. It's great but hard to get sockets off for me.

Just got that Stahlwille set today. I like the feel, they remind me of the old Indestro line.

Have not posted many if at all of my purchases in to this thread.I will say first thanks for honest reviews of things, second damn you all for feeding the addiction.Lets start First with the Torque wrench Craftsman 47711 I think an older model 3/8 digital torque wrench for 30$ on clearance.Says assembled in usa with global components.I opened it at the store to see if it worked it didn't.So I bought some batteries and changed them. works

Then the home depot trip.First I should throw out there I am NOT a professional mechanic or electrician. But I like tools and some things its better not to skimp on as they say.
7 piece Gearwrench insulated screw drivers were from the hot deals thread (another thanks/hate you guys for that).
Milwaukee Knife set for 15$
Uglys book
Wiring simplified
Channel lock needle nose
Channel lock linemans
Klein Strippers
Cresent Pivot Pro diagonal cutters(pretty close to the gearwrench ones if not the same both made by apex)
Empire 10" torpedo
Empire 3" level
Milwaukee precision screwdrivers
Milwaukee Jab saw
M12 Led light(to go with its brothers the m12 drill 1/4 impact driver and 3/8 ratchet)
Some husky picks just because
Klein Test kit that came with the mm100 Manual ranging multimeter,Ncvt-1 non contact voltage tester, and the rt100 Recepticle tester for 36$ part number is 69149 on the kit.
And the husky 16inch tool bag with tool wall inside..I liked the lay out and pockets better than the 10inch electricians bag.
So that's close to being done for my electrical bag for around the house, and ive been weighing out the option of going to school to be an electrician so I figured its a good start and if I don't decide to well I think I can probably tackle most home tasks with some more knowledge.

I have one of those leatherman knives. Always treated me well and is a pretty damn good knife for the money IMO. I've since upgraded my daily to a charge tti but still use the knife occasionally.

Just picked up my Yost FSV-4 from the sales counter at Home Depot.

Mounting it to my welding table will be a fun project for tomorrow.
