I found out recently from my buddy going through the same diesel program I did, that the local SO Industrial rep will discount Williams and a ton of the Snap-On stuff that is no longer on the SEP site.
Wish I would've known while I had the SEP discount but was buying all of my Williams stuff!

Interesting, I will have to ask my guy about that.

Keep us updated on if it works out. I'm curious if it comes up as something that more reps do, or if the guy at our school was doing him a kindness (or if he's the only one that asked about Williams tools).

If you can get a good discount on USA Williams, you'll be miles ahead as far as the wallet goes. Even at full price, they're an insanely good deal.

Where did you end up getting the welding positioner?

Just got outbid on a few Ebay auctions. Hate that.

Thanks, wagglier. I have the pullers but the plastic is wearing out and I have been looking for a nice way to store the pieces to the pullers.

Plastic never holds up on any of the tools maybe the first few years, I also had my pullers scatarded all over the place So it will be nice.

Oh cope what did you sell yours for?? Really wierd I won't use it for three months and then use it every day for a week. But when I need it it sure is nice.

Little haul from Sears today. Picked up both sets of the bolt-out, Knipex electrician pliers on sale for $24, Knipex 8" cutters and the 12 piece set of nut drivers for $25.

I've been on something of a trading spree...

The Proto and Carlyle ratchets are the real standouts to me.
I liked them so much I have a black 3/8" Proto and a QR 3/8" Carlyle on the way now.

That Carlyle 1/4" is the nicest 1/4" ratchet I've ever owned, at any price. And that includes Snappy, Matco, Gearwrench and SK.

I have been wanting nut drivers for a while, those Craftsman at $25 for 12 piece sound good. Do they have a hollow shaft?

Ordered this about a month ago but it was on back order at Summit Racing...

I've been needing one for years but was always able to borrow one. Finally bit the bullet and bought my own.

And here are a few small cabinets I saved from the scrap bin at work today.

Not sure where I am going to put them, or what I am going to use them for but they will work good for small tools and paperwork/receipts.

Bought it well used in 1993, and paid $300. Added a few pieces, and sold it for $1500. The buyer bought it for his brother who was a truck shop mechanic. Mine was an older version and came in a cabinet with metal doors.

I could sure use a 24mm to complete my snap on wrench set. I think that size is 60 or 70 for the one wrench?

My craftsman 15/16 wrench will do for now

This round of tools is mainly because I got a new-to-me Fluke last week. This is going to help tremendously in sorting electrical issues on my projects.

Pick up my new Snappy cutters.
One pair of the new VictorEdge diag cutters that just hit the streets. Sharp cutting edge on both sides, makes a realllllly clean easy cut.

And then a set of flush cutters i've been wanting
