how do you like them we got them here too cept there rebadged under SP tools heres a pic how do the prices compare?

About 50 or so bucks less on the sets, but we dont get some of the stuff that's on your flier, like the 16 volt drill and die grinder.

After looking at the catalog for sp tools, looks like we get better batteries too. Still, I wouldn't mind having that 16v die grinder, or the brushless angle grinder, or the 16v sander.

Yeah I would of never thought I'd spend that much on wrenches but after borrowing them from other technicians I had to buy some. They grip so well and work perfect for alignments.

Is that a magnetic wrench holder hanging vertically on your tool box? I don't think I've ever seen that before. It looks like it says Blue Point, is it only available on a SO truck or are they available somewhere else? (rebranded)

I recently bought the same wrench set (SAE and Metric) and could use some new wrench holders. These might be just what I'm looking for.

I'll be the fourth guy to quote this picture. What I'm thinking is your Snap On guy must be wack to not have any FD wrenches in stock!! The best of the best wrenches ever made.

I can't remember where I saw this (might have been here on GJ) but I had to get one as soon as I saw it. Lots of features packed into one little square.

My first new Snap-On tool in quite a long time. I paid my box off so that frees up some money for some things I've had my eye on for awhile.

Got this new half inch drill. I looked at it last year, then I was digging around the truck today and found the box buried in the back. My dealer said damn. That things still here. I asked how much and he said normal price had I known it was on the truck. $435, since I didn't even notice it and just want it gone $275

I would be interested in hearing what you think of the punch and chisel set after you have had a chance to use them.

I'll let you know but might be a while lol middle of winter don't get a chance to use my tools much....I ordered 2 sets of those and the ratchets for a buddy... He has a garage at home and he gets a chance to work on stuff more often then me so if he uses them I'll let you know... They seem alright though, but small but should be alright for diy work

Stole this from a guy on Craigslist. Ad read something like "wife gave me this for x-mas a few years ago and I used it once."

Bingo

--Porter Cable 690 router combo with fixed and plunge base. Doesn't even have a spec of sawdust in the case.
--assorted bits. The Ryobi ones are unused. The others were his FILs and look in good shape. They're all duplicates to what I already have so who cares anyway.

$100 :pimpflash

how does that fair when you close the lid???? i'm very interested let a guy know!
They stay in place nicely. I haven't had one wrench fall out.

Our snap on guy said he was quitting for the last 6 months so he stopped stocking up and lied about ordering tools. Well he isn't leaving now so I finally got my wrenches. I was going to boycott but I can't do without at the moment.

You're going to love those Proto wrenches; the spline is awesome on rounded fasteners and they have a great ratchet feel to them.

Amazon shipment received today.
First up Wright Tool 11-70mm wrench. For whatever reason these were priced at $75 this past Sat, they had 3 and I bought 1 and the other 2 are gone now. These things retail for $554 each! I fully admit I have no practical use for this but plan on hanging it on my garage wall as art. The weight is 14lbs.

Could you explain the "7/16 lawsuit wrench" to a newb?

Thanks

In 1948 Plomb got sued by Plumb over trademark infringement. So you can find some Proto with upside down triangles as the "Os," some with Plomb and Proto both on the same wrench, and some where the Plomb is ground off by the factory. Only happened in 1948. Someone please correct me if that's erroneous.........

Picked this up for $25 this weekend. Don't really have a use for an old torque wrench like this. But it still reads true (pretty true anyway)

Trolling through sears and saw this in the clearance section. Seems like a decent little kit. I'm not much for gimmicky tools per se. But these seem interesting. The old tag was from June so it has been sitting around for awhile. So I got it for much cheaper than that.
