I just bought two sets of SO combination wrenches, but I liked the Proto ratcheting wrenches more. I really like the box design. Finish and ratcheting action are outstanding. Each set has a very wide range 6-32mm and 1/4" - 1 1/4" which can be seen in second photo.

Where did you buy them, all I can find is crazy pricing, maybe you paid crazy money too. I would not blame you, they look nice!

I got mine from a seller on ebay.......offered BIN-$50 and he accepted. Total was $350 (free ship) for the 20 piece SAE set I posted a few pages ago.

Let me check my bought items and see if it's still available.........

EDIT: Sorry, just looked and he has none left.......

I was looking this morning. I got one of my non reversible gear wrench ones stuck again the other day and I think it is time to upgrade. I saw they had some damn nice options for wrenches, reversible stubby and reversible flex heads. The size range is extremely nice as well, of course the best part is made in USA. I have a lot of gearwrench, hopefully I can get back some money, a lot of them are the nicer older ones, like the reversible combos, I don't think any are the cheap looking new ones.

I am still interested in the gearwrench double box end super long flex head splines they offer.

I got those extra long ratcheting DBE's a few weeks ago........haven't had a chance to put them to use yet though.

Others have said they love them. I have a set without splines or flex heads. If they were flex head I would have used them by now for sure.

Picked up a little precision driver set at China tire today https://scontent-iad.**.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpf1/v/t1.0-9/1623715_10153697905524012_3850971166529564358_n.jpg?oh=cbe7ba3299eb1b580e83d7112de7c198&oe=5559840C

Nice.
I was going to grab that throughout the week, despite its very good sale price,i couldn't justify it seeing how I have so many drill/driving bits as it is.
They had a ratcheting version on sale as well.

The cutters are not revolutionary, just well made and do a great job of making clean cuts. If you have a set of cutters that work great now, don't buy these.

If you have a set of cutters that take significant force to snip a wire, do more mashing then cutting.. can not cut a high count & thin wire primary wire without leaving a strand or two uncut..then consider the New SO cutters. They work well.

I picked up the ratcheting version too but going to return it... Got it for the Bits really but got enough now... The little driver though will be good instead of grabbing all my precision drivers.... I can grab this set and seems to be pretty good so far

There's not a whole whole lot on sale at CT this week.
I can't wait for the "Fathers Day sale" I find that's when the most deals/best deals are on,along side of Black Friday.

I just want to know the difference between those and the 87CF ones which I have besides the obvious stamped "S"

Finally picked up a nice tool bag to store all my tools in when working on cars (I generally work at other's houses). Got a really nice Husky 24" bag. Listed as $29.97 on the shelf but I showed them the $24.97 price on their website and they reduced it no questions asked. I have no concerns about durability with this thing. It's incredibly sturdy.

BOGO at Advance, for a leave in the car mini box along with other "value" priced tools

HF double drive ratchets, the 1/4-3/8 will go in the mini box, the 3/8-1/2 will stay in the regular box along with the Dewalt cutters
