I have a Matco set that has held up well. Have had them about 3 years and only broke one. Lifetime warranty though.

Mine rolled out into the street with extension attached. I didn't miss it for a day or two and by then it had found a new owner. I bought a cased set like the one the OP bought. It is a glossy painted type finish; I would prefer the typical impact finish.

I found this powermatic 66 on facebook last week. My garage technically isn't finished yet, so it's covered up for now. It's in excellent condition and has a forrest woodworker II blade on it. He also had a awesome delta jointer i regret letting go now.

I'm working on a full set (SAE and metric, in all 3 drive sizes) of 12 point sockets to go with my existing 6 point set.

Picked these up today. MAC 1/2 inch, 12 point, metric deep set....

I've never been impressed with auto strippers. These Kleins are my go to strippers. I've had them for years.

I have those ones and nothing but disappointed with them. They don't do anything better then the what I thought were worn out cheap wire strippers I got with my auto tech program. Even being oiled up, the black surface has rusted all to hell in my tool box from minimal use.

The ones I got with my highschool program still look and do their job great. I remember when I got them well. Felt very proud I was buying a quality USA product. Iirc, $20 with tax for those bastards.

I thought about saying the same thing, but didn't want to harsh his vibe.

I used them for about 20 minutes and felt like chucking them across the room. Went back to using these:

the automatic stripper ones or the blue handled ones that I quoted that look like your yellow ones?

The blue handled that you quoted that look like my yellow handled.

Maybe my blue handled pair are defective, but they don't cut the insulation nearly deep enough. I seldom use the NM (Romex) notches on my yellow handle pair, but the #12 notch is great.

I have never had good luck with auto strippers except a pair I used with really fine wire about 25 years ago when I used to do a lot of point to point electronics soldering.

Maybe one day I'll buy the yellow pair and try so I can chuck my blue ones in the lake.

Solus Edge. Boot-up is super quick, 2-3 seconds and you're ready to connect to a car. Lighter than I thought it would be, screen is nice and bright (and modern). Will be much nicer to use than the shop's ancient and heavy Verus. Haven't had the chance to really try it out yet. D:

Have had two sets of these (different size) for all of two days now... but on what I use them for, automotive stranded wire 22-8ga.. they have worked great.

Yeah I'll stick with the ones I already got, just taught if I wanted to try a new tool klein would be good choice. I'll talk to the seller see if he takes them back..
I hope my klein journeyman screwdrivers don't disappoint me, waiting anxiously.

Decal eraser. I'm cleaning up the wheels on my BMW and this should help get the old wheel weight adhesive **** off.

Please let us know how well it works - especially on painted finishes.

Thanks,
Tawn

Im using it on the inside of the wheels that are painted and cleared so Ill let you know. I would be pretty nervous using it on the side of a car though.

Yeah I've never seen a decal eraser quite like that one. The 3m eraser wheel is what I've always used.

Hey Fordgasm..how are you liking your C3 impact. I'm seriously thinking of getting that same one and the 3/8 drive to go with it.

absolutely love it. easily removed lug nuts from an SUV. I really cant ever imagine going back to air impacts. Sears also has sales like every week so you can always get it for $149.99 or less.

Picked up an IR 2145 Qimax today. I've had an eye on it for like 2 years now. So finally pulled the trigger. It's going to see a lot of use. I've been needing a 3/4" impact for awhile. Just couldn't bring myself to spend the money.

Do you like the Duratek better than the regular (plastic MAC) screwdrivers had my eye on them for a while now.

I have never used Mac screwdrivers and have limited time with the Durateks....I also bougth a similar multi Williams set and I found the handles on the Durateks fit me better than the black handled Williams.....
