Yep I bought it to demold 1 truck. Figured for $10 it was worth it if it did just that. 5 years later it is going strong.

John it might have been convered already but are those the sets of test leads in this month's Cornwell flyer?

I'm not sure if they are in this month's flier but I did purchase them off the Cornwell truck.

I just looked through the march 2015 sales flier and I don't see any test leads in this flier. I see a back probe set that I'll be purchasing on tuesday though ;)

So does that cutoff wheel have a shield on it normally?

Are you asking about my cutoff wheel that I posted?

Quoting posts really helps people know who you're talking to haha

If you are asking about that sunex HD that I purchased, It did not come with a shield although the unit I purchased was opened (purchased off the tool truck) so it could have been lost sometime along the way.

A boxed set of K-tool 3/8" drive impact sockets.
Couldn't go wrong at $18 at the local tool store's clearance section.
So far, happier than the Sunex 3/8" drive impacts

My dad just gave me these pliers 16" SK Wayne. I don't know what I will ever use them for but I have them if I need them I guess.

GJ member "rapid robert" gave me a killer deal on his SK 1/4" case he wasn't using. Needed to get my 1/4" impact sockets off of the rails bouncing around my tool bag on service calls. Fits the Gearwrench impacts perfectly, the case fits in the tool bag, and even have some extra space for a 5/8" socket, swivel and thumbwheel. Also have a SK round head ratchet on the way to fill the space :D

I've seen that case before. I couldn't own it because of the way the extensions sit. Why didn't they put them in straight? :headscrat

NICE looking SK set

The SK impacts have a better coating that resist rust/corrosion.

I would disagree. I know SK advertises the salt spray test but, all of my SK impact sockets become speckled grey with use and the gold high vis markings disappear too quickly. However, it's not like I'm dipping them in salt water or road salt here. :dunno:

why do you like them more than Sunex aside from price? do the k tool have stamped size marking in addition to the gold etching? I've never used anything from Ktool. :dunno:

I just picked up this Greenfield Little Giant Jr. Tap & Die set off Craigslist for 15.00, a keeper for sure.

I'm not sure if it's all there or not but it looks to be. There is a bracket between the two smaller handles that I don't know what is for and there is nothing to go in it, anyone know ?

I know there's a tag on it that says 65.00 but that must have been what someone else paid for it.

The case and script of the K-Tool makes them look like they come out of the same plant as Sunex.

Got this before Xmas but have been using it a lot lately. I love it. Its the most powerful cordless 3/8 out there. Definitely worth the money.

Saw this interesting item on my "Amazon suggestions " list.

I have yet to use it, but it feels better than it looks. Feels solid and locks tight on random things around the house.
Considering it was like fifteen bucks, I figured it was worth having on hand.

I have this, I mainly use it when Im working on something and I need a free hand. It works ok but I find I need to keep adjusting it to make sure it stays clamped tight.

Some new some old..sadly no matco 88s I really wanna try one soon

Get the Armstrong Maxx ratchets. Matco rebrands them and puts a huge mark up on them. Great ratchets and I would say that they are up there with Snap On dual 80's.

My Matco guy looked completely dumbfounded when I wanted to buy an 88 tooth rebuild kit for my Armstrong ratchets (came with 60 tooth internals) saying that it won't work. Well, he wanted to replace it himself to see if it worked. Low and behold, it fits like it was made for that ratchet.
