Some stuff I picked up this week:

Hansen wrench racks and Lisle piston ring installer. My cousin works at oreillys so he buys my **** with his employee discount. Sadly he's leaving oreillys in a couple weeks. I've already stocked up on oil and fuel filters, evaporust, and wiper blades. And Coverall.

Big Blackhawk wrenches. The far one is 2", the closer one is 1-7/8". They had them at the closest surplus store. They had probably 20 of the 1-7/8's and I got the last 2". I paid 32.50 each which seems like too much now that I think about it. But they're new and I wanted them. The store also had like 50 1" SK raised panels. And a bunch of new full polish Herbrand stuff. It's didn't say USA though so I didn't buy any.

The price on the wrenches was good rockinacummins. But can be hard to justify if not needed. I would of picked em up. Even though i have those sizes at work and home.

Thanks Devon,

I will use them although it may be rarely. Our disks have axle nuts in that size range. And besides, I've been putting together a mixed set of big wrenches

Lenox 2" hole saw to complete my set, a few spare arbor bits, Mac pliers and locking 1/4" drive handle, some Westling Machine universal Torx bit holders, another Hansen metric 1/4" rack, and a few Proto 12pt sockets to complete my set.

I think my impact socket selection is now finished, yay! I bought some Snap-On individual pieces in 1/2" to fill up a set a while ago, but I just couldn't justify the price for the rest of what I wanted, at least not for my hobbyist use. The SK's fit the bill nicely.

For my American colleagues who might not know, Gray is a top quality Canadian made hard line tool company serving the industrial market, so no tool trucks. They're sold in B&M stores and are finally starting to have a small on-line presence. The socket broaching is excellent.

But mostly, I can hardly wait to starting using the Proto impact!

Thought it was time for an actual diagnostic scanner. No more $20 code readers here.

Who knows?
More NOS deliveries today, and some other cool Bonney I snagged off of eBay. Never saw a Bonney brake spoon, screw starter, puller or extractor set before so I snagged them!:rocker:

No kidding? I just used my Bonney brake spoon to change out a coworkers brake the other day. Can't quite remember where I bought it, but it might have been Epsteins.

I have both of what you talked about and a set of the platinum brand. The new EZ Reds are very bulky compared to them. I'd go with the gearwrenchs or if you want the reversible I'd go with the Platinums or Mountain brand.

Thanks for the info man. That might affect my decision. You think you might be able to post up a comparison picture showing the difference in thickness's? I'd sure appreciate it.

That black 95th anniversary one and the other snap on's are so bad *** lookin!

I'm not really a knife guy tho so I don't really understand the insane price of them so if someone could enlighten me I'd be grateful.

So this arrived yesterday via USP service. I purchased this Hougen HMD904 on ebay for a very fair price with free shipping. Upon inspecting the unit, I noticed one of the feed handles was bound up. I was able to remove it but the threads where fubar. I made a replacement from 1/2" brass as I only had 1" and larger aluminum round bar.

The bonus came when I focused my attention to the carrying case. I could hear something rattling in the hollowed out section, turns out two annular cutters with pins where hiding out.(7/8"x1" and 1/2"x1")

I have borrowed mag drills in the past and have had to resort to other means when a mag drill would have been faster. It was time to add this to my "toolbox".

Grabbed these Urrea wrenches on Amazon for $30. Went right back to $160 after I ordered them.
Made in Mexico.

Speaking of Urrea.
Saw a couple of low cost "Add-on" items and bought them with my order Wednesday and they came today.
Interesting that the ratcheting wrench is Taiwan.

They really make some properly nice stuff.
I thought about giving the non ratcheting combination wrenches a try, but ended up going with Tekton.

Urrea sockets are the nicest I've ever come across at any price.

EZ red is on right. Left is all the same style(mountain, platinum and klutch)

As you can see the new EZ red is bulky and shorter

Plus, at least on mine, the newer ezred style constantly binds up under torque. I can't wait to be rid of them. My matco gigantic wrenches will be here monday.
