Got these the other week

Nitrocat-1200k.JPG

NitroCat 1200K and a Williams 1/2" T55 Torx socket.

I've dubbed the NitroCat "Thor's Hammer" since it's a beast compared to my old Craftsman impact. Both the NitroCat and Williams socket made quick work of some rusty, rusty bolts that held the front bumper of my project car on.

Before my Craftsman just didn't have the power and would sit there and/or the Lisle impact torx sockets I was using would just break.
Love my 1200k!! Just ordered a 1375xl.... should be home when I get there

Got these through the mail today :) not new i know, but they are to me, and the ratchet is in fantastic condition, looks barely used.

Nice old USA made Husky CM43 1/4" ratchet and CM20 extension

Not sure about the era, i guess 70's or early 80s? (believe its a re-branded New Britain?)

Love the ratchet, it 60 tooth, and really smooth, I usually open up newly acquired ratchets to check and re-grease them, but this one has a snap ring which looks hard to remove without damaging it, so it got dropped in some 5w30 after i cleaned it out instead.

Extension was slightly bent, but a bit of patience a vice, hide mallet and straightedge had it true again :p

they were sold as apart of a BOGO with a bit set. there's a lot of bit sets listed too. I'm still coming across ones I don't have but they usually go for big $$ and they're not listed often. Guessing it'll be one of those lifelong collections type things.

New IR Thermometer.

It would be nice, but I wouldn't get enough use out of it to justify the $500 price tag. So I'll just have to wait a year or two when the competition gets going and the prices fall on the next generation.

I found these, kind of feel bad about using them. I forgot to take a picture of my Nupla 16" hammer with an 8 pound head. I got it from zoro, it will make a nice persuader for sure.

I received my first purchase of Knipex pliers from ChadsToolBox.com today. The order came complete with a 6-day turnaround. After examining the quality of Knipex pliers I have placed another order today for a few extra pieces. I have bundled up my previous inventory of Channellock pliers and plan to give them to my son-n-law this evening. Life is too short.

It is pretty easy, yes use a heat gun to preheat the paint cracking may still occur because of the variety of bends on fenders. I am expecting to have a small flake come off where my fenders meet the bumper in the rear of my WRX. I have rolled a total of 10 fenders with a roller and 4 with a piece of PVC pipe and a roller is the way to go. I try to do it on a really warm day, in the sun and still use a heat gun. My first miata with 22 year old paint had no cracking of flaking when i did it 2 years ago with a roller.
