The "blue edition" Knipex Cobras (previous page) are very cool. I almost like the case (tin?) better than the actual pliers! The color looks pretty close to Channellock blue; maybe this is Knipex trying to stealth their way into the Channellock camp. ;)

diamonddustin, wondering were you picked up the CDI torque wrench. Im about to order one from Amazon and they dont show or make mention of the blow molded case. They look like a quality tool at an affordable price.

The 10" on top is the new arrival. The eBay seller messaged me after the purchase to tell me it didn't close all the way but he thought it was made like that. Turns out a prior owner put some pretty good dings on the static side and it was interfering with the jaw traveling. Cleaned them up with a file and it's working fine now. I love diamond adjustables.

I love adjustables period! Nice

After paying all my bills this month I had more left over than I thought, so I spent it before somebody maybe hacks my account and steals it...

Went to buy the 1/4 6 pt metric deep and shallow sets, and 3/8 6 pt metric deep and shallow sets... He said there was a promo going on for the 3/8 sets, and I got the shallow ones for free!! Sweet!!

Of course I used the savings to scratch a 3/8 knurled extension set off my replace list!! Also spotted a 1/2 inch standard 12 pt deep set that was marked down half price, they came home too... Tool fund is empty for the rest of month, at least I still have two ebay packages on the way!!

The snap on guy read me like a book, I didn't even ask for a catalog!! I looked thru the whole thing tonight... A person could spend a ton of cash in a hurry... I can't imagine what some of those tool boxes cost...

The yearly rent for my apartment is less than some of the boxes in the catalog

Love the diamond adjustables. My dad picked up a real nice 15" recently that I really wish I had gotten lol...
Although my favorite adjustable is my old Kenosha Wisconsin bluepoint 8" really love the old bluepoint ones. Got a lot of canadian gray 12" ones too

you can never have too many tools

Got mine from Amazon, came with the case. For ~$110, it's hard to beat.

So I picked up a standard and metric set of craftsman ignition wrenches. Says made in USA, but these things make harbor freight tools look like snap-on. They are not drop forged, simply stamped out and then chromed. Look at those lobster claws. They didn't even grind down the edges. Wasted about $20 for both sets, as these will go into the beaterbox when I get replacements.

I went on ebay and sniped some poor ******* out of a -v- series ignition wrench set (middle set). Now I just have to wait for a metric set to show up. This really puts a dent in any confidence I have in USA made Craftsman tools though. I understand they are small, but if they could produce a quality set 30+ years ago, I would expect the same if not better with today's manufacturing ability.

I got these Craftsman Industrial tools in the mail today. All are USA Made....3/8 impact sockets sae and metric, regular and deep, flex head ratcheting wrenches ...

Those ratcheting wrenches are surely made in Taiwan ? That's the place they were invented and most are made.
