Good stuff from the Sears Local Ad today.
This DeWALT 204 piece set is huge.
First pic it is in front of my HF 4 drawer cart.

With my newly acquired points from the DeWALT purchase plus some surprise points, I went inside Sears and bought this for $8.?? out the door.

Finally pulled the trigger on a decent set of shop scissors. Bought the Engineer brand "Vampire Tools" #PH-55 Super Combo Scissors. Awesome on-line reviews. Made in Japan. They should serve me well:

Lookin good. Taking $hit back and forth from work is for the birds.

Yessir, it really *****!

Those super cheap Tekton snap rings are actually really great. I like the spring and the look and feel! They seem very close to Knipex too.

That's good to hear. They really do feel great. I had a set of knipex in my cart, but found these for $16 shipped on ebay. Couldn't say no to that.

Also a long overdue snap ring pliers that'll do up to 4".

I have the same one. Try and find a place to store it is a pain.

I hear ya there. I've been storing one for a friend (and using it) and it takes up a ton of room in the shop. At least this one has the folding legs

That looks like work to me!!

Harbor freight? Yeah that the only reason I never got one....they are so big if u don't have much room. Always found it easier to borrow one the rare occasions I needed one. Good deal tho

Been needing some new quality screwdriver bits.... Wera Bit-Check Universal 30 set. Neat case - all folds flat into the case, slide the logo up and the 2 rows of bits swivel out for easy access. I do wish this set also included a couple of ACR phillips bits but it does at least have the "diamond" coated ones which supposedly also grab tight and hold. Time will tell.

Yeah i wish that wera bit set came with gold phillips bits in normal ph1-3. Why are they giving us gold diamond bits in Pozi drive?

Finally ran across the new 300 lb-ft. version of the Ryobi 1/2" Impact. Decided "what the hell" and picked it up.

Ran around the property a bit testing it out on lugnuts (car, F-250, car trailer, Farmall Tractor), flywheel bolts, motor mount bolts, lifted up the car with the emergency scissor jack, etc. So far love it. LED's come on before the anvil moves, and stay on for a 5-7 second period after you release the trigger. I let it hammer a bolt on as tight as it could and it had no issue removing it (unlike the 1/4" Hex Impact Driver, which is forward torque bias since it's designed for driving screws).

I'm heading up to my parents next week to work on their cars so I'll have a chance to really test it out. Plan on doing a little write-up/review afterwards.

i bought one of those silver streak markalls in an attempt to keep from constantly breaking my soap stones, i have a soap stone holder that i kept in my pocket. the silver streak writes pretty good on anything like black pipe, fresh iron, but it has trouble in the same spots soap stone has trouble. and won't write on concrete as well as soap stone. mixed feelings on it.

Mine is a no. 140.I ordered them through Mountain Product. They are heat treated and actually the colors in the pic. They are actually for a wilton vise but the center to center for the holes were the same so I went ahead and ordered them. The only thing I had to do to make them work was pick up some 10x24x1/2 bolts instead of the 3/8 my vise came with.

Had a little shopping spree last week. Part one was an internet visit to Harry Epstein. (I wish I was close enough to pay them an in-person visit.)
