More torque. Removes an extra connection from the link. Also don't have to worry about the socket popping off. Of course you could use a locking impact extension, but still.

i find it much easier to use those then grabbing a extension and swivel. when your working fast you rather grab 1 tool then 2-3 tools. also less chances of it flying off and they also have a little more angle then a regular swivel. i also have the 13mm BMW longer swivel extension works great. also the slim extension allows you to work in tight spaces where a swivel n extension wouldnt work. i ended up buying the whole set when it was on promo.

This exactly....like when you have to fish the ratchet behind a harness or hose or something but need the head to stay at a particular angle to get it on the fasteners. Sometimes space is tight and you have to put the ratchet on and THEN get your hand on it.

Like we're saying... Ours don't flop around. Mine says at whatever angle I put them at

That's the one thing that I don't like about Wiha drivers. I don't use my 1/2" nutdriver (and even the 7/16" is a PITA) and only use my Phillips #3 when I absolutely have to because of the stupid fat handles on larger sizes. I use the 1/4" & 5/16" daily though, and the handles are perfectly sized.

May want to just return them to Amazon with the "Not as described" option (then they pay shipping). I had the same issue with some individual drivers I ordered (different brand) that had the same stock image for different ones.

I like my Wiha screwdrivers. Those have different size handles depending on the shaft/tip, but so do my other screwdrivers. I never thought about it for nutdrivers, though. How many different sizes are the handles?

Received my wrench racks yesterday. Now I need to find wrenches to fill out the extra spots. The 12 pt wrenches will be easy to find and I've found an Armstrong 6 pt 20 mm but I'm having trouble finding any larger 6 pts for the sae side unless I want to spend over $50 for one wrench.

My Witte nutdrivers are all the same handle though, I think my Weras aren't all the same, but the largest of sizes is still manageable.

Just got this Snap On 95th Anniversary ratcheting screwdriver off the truck today. The picture isnt clear enough to show that the handle is actually a Pearl White and looks much better in person.

I think the idea is that since it's a larger fastener, it needs more torque, so the handle for the larger fastener has more surface area for your hand to make contact with, allowing you to apply more force. That's the best I can come up with.

Look on Ebay, but probably not a ton. I just picked up about half a dozen in boxes from a local pawn shop. Mine are different models, but they're only selling for about $30-35 tops unless they're a more unique model.

There's 3 different size handles in 6 piece set. I have big hands and the smaller ones are almost like micro drivers.

I just moved and my tool boxes were stored at a friemds house so I had to buy things when I couldnt get to my boxes. Here are some things that I picked up over the last couple of weeks.

I needed to make some emergency repairs to my daughters Honda Civic and needed a a couple of screw drivers. I bought these Husky tools in a two Pack #2 Phillips and a Flat head. I figured ain't would keep them in my car but I actually like them.

I needed new battery packs for my Ryobi drill and found it was cheaper to buy a new drill pack with a charger and 2 batteries then buying just the batteries and charger alone.

I have some projets to work on in the new house and needed a nail gun to use in the house. I have an older Makita pneumatic one but its overkill for use in the house. So I got a cheap electric one.

Some new arrivals for the Snap On road box. Mastercraft Maximum clear handle screwdriver set (which are the best lifetime warranty screwdriver you can buy at Canadian Tire) They are really great. Set of Punches & Chisels, Breaker bar.

When I was at Canadian tire I went in the automotive tools section (our american friends wont know what I'm talking about) and as you may know Canadian Tire arent selling Powerbuild tools wich were their car specialty tools line. (Wich I like because some of their kits are actually really good quality) Their new lines are now OEM brand wich I kinda find cheap quality. So I scored this high quality Valve spring compressor set for 45$ tax in instead of 130$ (in Quebec we have 15% sales tax on any goods) so I can ditch my cheap 15$ version of it. Kinda stoked.
