I got a few things this week;
TEKTON 2910 1/2-Inch Drive Manual Hand Impact Driver Set, 7-Piece
and EZ RED KWP2 Kiwi Set, 2-Piece
selling001.jpg
and the next is Armstrong 25-675 11 Pc. 12 Point Full Polish Extra Long Combination Wrench set SAE. I paid $40 for it.

I hope the kiwi pliers work better than they look though. The fit and finish is horrible. The points don't meet either. There isn't and noticeable looseness though. I guess I will see.

Hey sleepy, let me know how you like that impact driver if you don't mind. I've been eyeing it for a while but am always to scared to pull the trigger.

Dual 80 Snap On display ratchet. My driver got tired of moving it around so he handed it over to me.

Yes, it's plastic. It actually works also. Has a piece of plexi glass so you can see how the internals work.

had some points that were about to expire... fun facts...

1. i also ordered a 3/8" adapter... item page said available today, won't be in until the 19th... checked the tool section and they have one on the shelf but i didn't want to press the issue since it took forever for them to find the items and i was tired of standing around waiting

2. the phillips bits... click for the details

This is my first post outside my intro thread, so I'm not sure if I'm the first one on here to own one of these or not. After hearing about it last year I've been nagging DeWalt for more info and getting dead ends through multiple retailers and cancelled orders, but I finally got my hands on one:

The DeWalt DCF899! It was delivered last week and it is a BEAST. I've always used air impacts in the past because the electric ones that are capable enough for my needs were also way out of my price range. I already used it to change the front wheel bearing and hub assembly on my V8 4Runner and I was very impressed. I'm never going back to my air impact wrench.

I bought the bare tool because I already have a decent collection of 20V Max tools, but if I wind up using this as much as I think I will, I'll get a pair of the 5Ah XR batteries that came with the kit. I skipped the kit because of the soft-sided carrying bag and the $450ish price tag. Kit boxes or tough cases only for this guy, so this one is staying in the air tool drawer until I find a better place or buy a case that is worthy!

I've got one of those as wells. Did yours come with the display stand it sits on? Gets a lot of notice in my office.

I finally found one through Acme Tools, and the last time I looked they had it on their Amazon page. I originally tried getting the hog ring model (DCF899HB) through CPO when they claimed to have it "in stock", and I went through enough **** with them to never want to deal with them again.

When I found the detent pin version, I jumped on it. I've never had that kind of impact, but now I'm glad I bought it. I prefer it to the hog ring at this point. It's not difficult to get the sockets off if you don't line up the hole and the pin, and the socket is more secure than most of the hog ring impacts I've had in the past.

It looks like the one I bought is out of stock at Acme. But it looks like they have the DCF899HB:

http://www.acmetools.com/shop/mobile/tools/dewalt-dcf899hb

They also seem to have a few of the kits in stock now. If you search their site for "DCF899" you'll see all 5 options listed.
