Nice! [emoji106]

I saw that set on my SO truck last week. What did you pay for it, if you don't mind me asking?
Thanks! I believe it was about $550 out the door.

I still need that one and the 1 5/16" to complete my set. Did you find a "deal" somewhere on it?

I wouldn't say I got a "deal", but considering you cannot order this anymore from Summit or any place else, I did pay a little more to complete the set, it came from ebay. Well worth it in my mind!!

When I finished my sets I went through a local place. I can figure out what it was called if you need it but that was almost two years ago.

New flea market arrivals.. First is a small hemostat, second a almost new Sears Kronedge file, third is a "to be restored" simple hack saw blade holder (with the one I already had at the bottom as reference), and fourth is a Sears 1/4" drive socket set ~ Dunlap? Fifth is a solid blade, wooden handle putty knife.

Will post the forth item with more pictures in the vintage tool section to see what the consensus is on Sears Dunlap or not..

Dunlap was the step down grade available at sears. Way nicer than what's available today. Remember how back years ago sears had a "companion" brand. It was like that.
Keep it as a lot of Dunlap was still USA made if I recall.
I own a couple Dunlap ignition wrenches

LATEST EDITION TO THE GROUP...

ran out to harbor Freight to get a few hangers for my compressor hoses, they were doing one of their sales. stopped at the pipe wrenches. since i do not own one, thought i would grab one, the 14" were 5.99 and noticed the 18" were 7.99, so grabbed one of each. upon check out they let me use the 20% off coupon so the 18" was only 6.39 !! what a steal. they seem nicely built, and IF i eve need them I will have them !!

thought it was cool that there were gradation marks on the stem. not accurate but still a cool feature.

Proto professional USA made 1/4 impact sockets. The sae are from a member on here used and the metric I ordered through my Mac guy. They seem very nice.

Gearwrench flex sockets. 6pt. 3/8 drive metric.

Haven't gotten to use em yet, but so far the finish is nice. The pinning to the flex joint leaves something g to be desired though...

Sears website still has the 10pc "large" full polished Industrial wrench sets (4 largest metric and 6 largest SAE) available on their website. Lowest I've seen it was $209, and right now at $219. I'm hoping for it to drop so low that I can't refuse, but I'll more than likely end up SOL and the set will become unavailable. I only need the two largest SAE and three largest metric, so half the set would be duplicates for me. I guess I could always ebay the duplicates!

I'm nearly certain I would never have a need for these sizes, but there's something about having a "complete" set that keeps calling me!

Those are pipe size graduation marks. Typically you use pipe wrenches together. so you would use two 14" or two 18". At home I only have up to 10" because I only need it for 3/4 or smaller but at work we have up to 48" of course aluminium.

Holy ****, WOW!!! You cant touch a quality speed handle anywhere for less than $25 shipped. I am proud of you on this day.

Just a lucky grab. Have to be patient. Using eBay on your phone is the best way because a lot of these auctions have strange end times.

Ha, I forgot about this thread and posted my own - what a dunce!:eyecrazy:

Brother in law GAVE me this nearly new set of Proto snap ring pliers which look to have hardyy ever been used. I wiped a little grease off two pairs!
Not that it matters but I did a quick search and found the set goes new for $250-300.

I also bought a new Flexzilla hose to replace my Costco PVC hose that I never truly liked but an end popped off and decided to make a change. I'll fix the PVC hose as a backup but now I've decided to return the Flexzilla for a Goodyear or a Tekton hybrid. Haven't decided if I really need a reel or not - though I WANT one! Ha ha.

Where did you get the bushing cutter from and how much? I need one at work (would be much better than using a chisel).

It's a Snap-On GA1. It was right around $15. It's a blue point so someone makes it for them but I have no idea who.

SK 94512 case is a little dirty but I don't think the tools have ever been used. Is $15 a good price? ;)

Ace Hardware 4th of July sale. $16.54 for everything. All I actually needed was the pry bars but when did that ever stop us?

Sorry Robinson, you just lost any pat on the back ya rightfully had coming since you elected to attempt sucking yourself. It's a damn shame too as you would have gotten one. Tisk-Tisk :(

And with a quick edit I don't have a clue of what you are talking about........

Really? You think that highly of it? Ok, maybe I'll keep it as the backup to a hose reel mounted hose....or maybe....I'll just order a reel and use it that way! Thanks for the idea.

Now...which is the one to have? I'd prefer metal.

if the flexzilla broke, check with them, they are supposed to have a good warranty. (not sure about the reel, but the hose should be

Curious...is there much difference?

OP - can you post a side shot of the tool? Thanks.

Yes, I have used them before, the rounded part helps the bushing curl away from the hole it is pressed in to, makes it easier to get out.

Thanks, had my Snap On guy order me one up today.:bounce:

Well I left my go to ratchet at home and Cornwell came by and it was the perfect excuse to buy a new ratchet.
