Shoot I missed the drama. 
On another note, even though I have many Snap-on hammers, I use that same Estwing mini-sledge professionally for ball joints and tie rod ends as someone else mentioned. And that Snap-on creeper, I MUST get one! My cornwell creepers wheels hit it's body and is so irritating.

I needed some snap ring pliers to do a repair on one of my Craftsman ratchets and went to Lowes, they don't carry them, went to the local feed store...nope, Tractor Supply? No. Finally found a pair at O'Reillys for $15 under their Power Built brand. They are not the best but I have now used them a couple times and they work fine,
Then a buddy who knew I was looking for some crows feet line wrenches gave me this MATCO set so I can finish my 2500HD power steering pump project. They are really well made and of course made in the USA.
Those look like the Lang/CL/CMan ones that have become popular, but with grips that store the tips in them? Are they made in USA like the Lang's?
I just got a Jeepers Creeper, but that snap on is actually pretty competitively priced. I like the trays too.
I guess I'll have to post a picture of my soexm710 set when it comes in, inside a HF tool chest, next to HF sockets and stubbies. It must be a nice life to have enough time and energy in life to worry about things that don't effect you at all. I buy the black HF disposable gloves and I don't have the energy to keep track of an expensive scraper that doesn't work any better. I really don't see how you could screw up a compression tester either. It really only needs to be precise but not accurate since its just a ratio and you're usually looking for the outlier cylinder anyway. Be easy enough to calibrate it yourself anyway.

They do have tip storage in the handles but they are made in Taiwan.
I am going to be 55 in a couple months and here to fore have never really needed snap ring pliers except for a couple times in my life and then I usually jerry rigged something or borrowed a pair. Now all of the sudden I have needed them 4 or 5 times in the last month for various things!

I had an old cordless driver which was expensive and good, but now the batteries are starting to give up, and the driver is heavy. I knew I needed a new one as I started working on my garage a couple of months ago, so I bought a Ryobi 18V. And some other tools followed, all of these in the last month or two.
These have made my life so much easier, it has been a walk in the park so far working with these.
Also, as it is time soon that the contractors will have finished their part, and I will need to continue myself, I will be needing this:
As I don't have walls or doors or anything, I currently pack all of the tools in the back of the car all the time

Maybe someone can enlighten me as to why the combo flare and box end wrenches? I understand the need for both but if I'm using a flare wrench it's because I can't get a box end on the line/nut.One for you U.S.A lovers.
To be honest I had never heard of Bonney before I joined this site. Never seen any Bonney tools in Australia before.

I picked up a pair of knipex mini bolt cutters this morning. Brilliant things! By far the best way I have found to cut brass pins for knife handles.

It's a great saw! I got one a few years ago at my local HD. It was on clearance also for $299.00. It was also the floor model and it didn't have a blade. The manager said I could take a new blade from the selection they had. I already had enough blades so we talked about it and I walked out with it for $260.00 plus tax. I have used a few times and with a good blade it is works very well. The only drawback is it is heavy - but that can also be a positive since the weight gives it stability.

Picked up this little guy yesterday for next to nothing. The only other floor jack I have is huge, ancient, and way too heavy for moving around a gravel driveway.
I need to squat and lift my old jack with both arms, I've lifted people that weigh less. I'd be interested to know what it's rated to lift but I don't really care. It lifts my Crown Vics without breaking a sweat and that's good by me.
The new little one is 2 1/2 ton and has a locking feature which I guess is kinda neat, wouldn't trust it over a jackstand though I may use it in conjunction with stands.
