Wow where'd you score those meters? I'd love a good bench meter especially for five bucks-forest fire!

All at the same garage sale! The hp one is missing the power cord, but the fluke one works in both! Or any computer power cord should work also. The last time the hp was calibrated was in June of 1992, that's older than me:rocker:

You must have been close to being able to get the $400 rebate, why didn't you go all out?

I was close but running out of time since my wife had an appointment to got to and I had to get home and watch our children. There was only one guy working the counter and UPS and FedEx both made deliveries back to back. He just got two more 211 in today and held the one for me. Let's just say I got a hell of a deal on the tank.

Picked up this lot of Snap on sockets, ratchets and such. Basically for what you would spend at Ruth Chris for a dinner for four.:rocker:

Yes, I get all my welding supplies, oxygen and acetylene refills at Matheson Valley, formerly Holshoy, on Portage.

Scott is a heck of a guy. If he is still down there. I use to be in the weld supply business. counter sales and cylinder fill line. Holshoy use to bring his empty cyl. to us and we would fill them. Back when Liquid carbonic was still around. also was manager at Findley weld supply,O.E. Meyer&son in akron. So me and scott use to be competitors but he still knows his business. And he is a super nice guy. That is where I bought my Miller from.

Picked up a set of metric 1/2" HF Pittsburgh Pro deep impacts. Figured I would try them since I don't use impacts very often. The Torin socket rail is new too.
These were made in Taiwan.

Miller 211, Miller cart, Miller Digital Performance Series helmet and tank.

$200 rebate and free spool ate 100 gun on its way.

Looks great. What was the part number of that cart? Was it a Miller cart?

I'm seriously thinking of buying a 211 with the current rebates and you guys are making it super tough not to. Just looking at the options now.

It was a package deal for $1295 and the item number was MIL 951651.
The salesman said I'd have a hard time matching the price with materials and time to construct my own.

I was thinking the same thing, but the salesman at my local place said the cart wasn't very good. That's why I asked you about it.

Does it secure the bottle well? Feel strong enough?

It is better constructed than the HF one. It only came with one chain to secure the bottle but has a second place where another chain can be placed. I was short on time yesterday and will take be able to pick up more chain at hardware store till weekend.

For now it'll due till I either get a tig or plasma. Then I'll build a cart to hold both units.

This week's haul
a97d464ddf27eb7a8ec8991a80350cc8.jpg
A few new pair of made in USA, Klein Tools electrical pliers, a few small made in USA funnels, and a set of new reflective road side safety triangles. All for the service truck.

Also went to the Snap On truck and picked up a seal pick set, PBKP12A multi-position pry bar, and FCF72 3/8 ratchet. Already used the ratchet and really like it!

You'll like the seal picks I use them all the time

I second that. I use them for o-rings too. I had to cut my tray to fit in the old toolbox, now with the new toolbox I want a new tray. I am going to have to find a reason to buy another set, then those can stay in my service truck. ;)

Second that! I use them for everything almost but seals lol
Although I pretty much only use the straight short one....99% of the time. Don't think I ever used the long bent one
