Second that! I use them for everything almost but seals lol
Although I pretty much only use the straight short one....99% of the time. Don't think I ever used the long bent one

I'm considering getting at least the straight short one if not another set for my service truck box. Probably need green though instead of red

In addition to the Klein electrical pliers for the service truck box, and the snap on stuff for the shop box I purchased this week and posted yesterday I made another purchase. I needed some tools in the box for my "weekend truck". Just in case I'd have problems on the road. 7b5131a98b6b34e1cb34ec3617fbd911.jpg
Decided to give Masterforce a chance with a 1/4 & 3/8 socket set, stubby screwdrivers, spark plug socket, also picked up a Wilde punch & chisel set. All USA made except for the Empire brand feeler gauges I picked up.

the ratchet will be the worst part of that set... it's pretty much a cman rp

it's amusing that the lower tier house brand (performax) has nicer ratchets than their flagship brand

Yeah I already found that out. Wasn't to impressed with it. Luckily I've got another ratchet I can stick in there that's a little better.

Also went to the Snap On truck and picked up a seal pick set, PBKP12A multi-position pry bar, and FCF72 3/8 ratchet. Already used the ratchet and really like it!

Wow!

Didn't know those pry bars were available! That looks seriously useful!

I need to pay more attention to the catalogue!

I honestly didn't know that either. I never remember seeing it in the catalog. But it was the only one on the truck. I figured it'd be useful so I snagged it. Even if though it was a little pricey.

Moving Sale score...bunch of old Craftsman, bunch of Blackhawk, a few Elora, a couple Snappys & Matcos, a Williams, an Armstrong, a few SKs, a couple of Indestro's that seem pretty nice, and a bunch of ****. Plus a Proto that was made in Los Angeles. Plus 2 Williams C-Clamps. All for under $70.00

Anyone know anything about Fleet, Penncraft, Allenite, or KAL sockets?

Got the new Snap-on electric 3/8 wrench today.

Also, I put a magnetic back on my personalized nameplate that came with the box, but I think I'm taking it back off since it looks out of place. I also ordered the polished magnetic "S" logo and put it on but not sure that I like it either and might take it off too and put it on the inside of the locker when it gets here.

I wouldn't be surprised if an Armstrong 88-tooth ratchet would fit in the same spot in the blow-molded case.

I may be able to find out if Napa will ever get it in for me. I ordered it plus a regular 36 tooth Armstrong and a metric socket set back in mid-June. Haven't seen it yet

i went to menards to buy trimmer line... started doing my usual stare at the tools for at least 20 minutes realized i have been using a 15/16 in place of a 24mm long enough... then remembered i needed a bit to drill a couple holes in some metal

and also bought junk food

I think a lot of people do that including me. For some reason it seems you end up with a sae set to 1" so you never really bother going above 21-22mm.
I'll continue to use my 15/16 wrench as a 24mm until I score a super cheap snap on 24 to match my set. Otherwise I'm not paying 60 some bux for one wrench lol

I want one of those... can't justify the $50 price tag...
