where i live there is a cornwell truck that hovers around a vaguely local race track and surrounding area but refuses to venture into the decent sized city with plenty of shops full of potential customers

Well, it's my birthday on the 2nd and Zoro decided to help me make it a special one!
I have always been a Bosch fan, and I love all my Bosch tools. The only thing I ever didn't like was the CS10 circular saw, I returned it and got a Makita. Bosch is just way behind Milwaukee in order of selection. To be honest the Milwaukee's feel like cheaper build quality, I know based on reviews and the M12's I own that they hold up great though.
2763 impact, deep cut bandsaw, 3x3 rapid charger, M12 and M18 USB supplies, and 4 5.0XC batteries. Plus a Husky K760

Nice! I would get a boot for that impact. They do a really good job protecting the plastic
Throw in a 2654 and 2454 for good measure, lol
2654 is probably my favorite. I'm going to try the 2454 one day though.. I think it will be strong enough for most things and be smaller/lighter

Ugh, thanks for the heads up. I didn't know Milwaukee had a boot for it.
To be honest, I probably won't be beating on it too hard... I don't do automotive stuff that often. It's first task is going to be sinking Spax 1/2" diameter lag screws into 10x10 oak beams for my barn redux.
I have the 3/8 M12 Fuel impact already. The next Milwaukee purchase will probably be the Fuel hammer drill, and then the circular saw and sawzall. Then I will sell my Bosch stuff.

Nice. Yeah the boots are nice. Underneath mine looks pretty much like new. I put one on the 2654 also
The fuel circular saws look really nice. I'm eye'ing the grinder and blower next (for drying the car after washing)
Bought the Dewalt wrench set the other day at sears with some points. Got additional $5 gift card from it.
For comparison with my Gearwrench the Dewalt will be on the left. Dewalt is thinner and similar to Gearwrench made in Taiwan.
Don't know how I feel about the anti slip. I would think that it is more likely to break at the anti slip crease (but that is just a wild speculation). It does have a lifetime warranty so hopefully you can get it replace. The chrome quality is very similar to gearwrench.
For home wrench, you can't go wrong with either one but Gearwrench is cheaper at AAP.

You can never have too many little odds and ends to hammer sheet metal over. Found this on ebay, bid on it for $9 and forgot about it until friday when i got a win notification. I believe it was a jewelers anvil or something, but should make for a nice hand dolly

I am assuming you can't return the tool to the original reseller. If yes, this is how you contact Titan about a warranty claim (from its website): "Fax your request to 800-386-0196. In most cases we will respond to your request within 24 hours."

I have a great Mac guy if you get the bug. Not a cheap ratchet, but I like mine. There are three lengths.
i've never personally seen the cornwell truck but i know of it's existence because of a neighbor who races at the track that truck usually parks at...
what i have seen is the snap-on truck, the mac truck, and just the other day learned there is a matco truck in the area when i saw it on my way to work
sadly i only know some of the snap-on guy's stops... the mac guy i don't know any of his stops but he works evenings at menards and parks the truck there after making his stops but i'd rather not bother him there (considering i've heard he's an *******)
but back on topic...
not too happy about the ratchet... "good working condition" apparently means damaged teeth and inside wall of the ratchet head

I have the smaller one and love it. It's SO nice to not have to pull out an extension cord to solder outside. Got the larger one for my dad for his birthday and he likes it as well.

No doubt. I really can't imagine not having one of these now. I would hate to go back to a regular soldering iron after having this thing!
