Vessel JIS screwdrivers, these things are awesome. If you ever felt like your screwdriver cams out a ton on screws, they might be JIS screws and need JIS screwdrivers. It feels like it even helps reduce cam out on non-JIS screws.

Oh HF is great for DIYers and at home projects. Not much from there can hold up to pro use. But agreed they do have some nice stuff here and there. I have a few in my tool box

I have a couple composite ratchets that are sitting next to my snap on ratchets in my epiq toolbox. They tend to get along better than most people would think.

Well really it can go both ways. I use harbor freight pro impact sockets in the mechanic field all day long not one has cracked or been broken. They have performed flawlessly. And at only 25 bucks for a set... I call that a pass.

Not everything a company makes is always going to be great. Anyone you buy from any where could be a hit or a miss.

It does.

To the OP then, why is the Bluebird better? What do you use it for primarily? Mine are all used for paint and body areas and take a heavy beating.

The bluebird doesn't have a mind of its own when under pressure, for example it won't curl up here and there without laying it all out flat 1st before hooking up also when putting it out of the way. I have a manual hose reel and can never use the legacy speedair hose at 25ft of it. FYI bluebird is made in India

HF stubby sae/metric wrench set. 8 bucks at harbor freight this morning. Figure they will work with what limited torque is required of them

Yeah I have been saving my lunch money all week! Haha.
Just got them today so I didn't get to use them yet. I can say tho that the open end for comparison feels the same exact as far as tolerance goes on a nut compared to my normal snap on fd+ wrenches

Yes sir I have found that mine have never let me down. They have allways come thru for me The HF haters can say what they want. A bolt doesnt care what is turning it only the person turning it cares. Good luck with them.

Picked up a Snappy 13mm angle wrench for adjusting Generac valves. Also a Husky 20" 3/8 extension for stripping the body panels from home standby units. I was going to buy an SK extension, but was surprised to see a 20" on the shelf, and at the quality of it (Taiwan).

Also spotted the (New?) 33" Husky 4 drawer cart for $149.99. Had never seen or heard of one before. Really damn nice, excellent price, and top storage was deeper than the HF carts.. I'd jump on one over another HF cart if I had the need for one.

EDIT: Went back by HD for something completely different, and while looking at the tools realized the 20" 3/8 and 1/2" drive extensions are the only ones made in Taiwan, all others are China. A world of difference in the quality looking at the two next to each other.

You get the 13mm angle new? That's almost the way to get those. Just buy the size you need and be done with it
Looks to be fd+??? I didn't think they made angle wrenches that way anymore

Bought lightly used on eBay, and yes FD+.

Was going to buy new from Snap-On, but found this one for a good bit cheaper (still the most I've ever paid for a single wrench though )

Been wanting to pick up a drill for work so took a trip to home depot yesterday. They had a special buy on a non hammer drill for $99 which I was going to get until I spotted this set for $220. So got an extra 1/4 hex impact and extra capacity batteries for $120.df22cd164ea6f207154ab7de80f78ced.jpgd6d4a6980738310d51056d118e898f32.jpg

Strange thing was they had another combo kit but the drill wasnt a hammer drill and smaller batteries for $269.

This works out for me as now I can but the 3/8 and 1/2 fuel impacts bare tool only and have the XC batteries already

My half ton is getting a 14 bolt rear. Also, some new stuff is a blue point FWD hub tool, 40oz dead blow ball peen, some Toptul double offsets, and 21mm and 24mm combos.

Man what a mess I would call them and ask for some to be knocked off the price. Looks like UPS didnt do there job. :lol_hitti

I bought the similar set in 1/4 drive and it arrived the same way, but everything was there. It's just not a very good blow molded case design. Designing it much better with deeper, more crisp pockets would also make it a lot harder to manufacture. Its not easy to mold a case like that without some of the pockets getting a little distorted. It's fine unless you are going to use it in a mobile situation or be tossing it around in a tool bag..... then it would be annoying.

I don't think it is reasonable to expect a shipper to transport a package as if they were carrying a silver tray with a dozen cups of tea on it. Besides... don't we have to take them all out as soon as it arrives anyhow to polish them and perfectly line up the lettering?:shocking:
