New sander ordered from the Labor Day sale from Jet.

Delivered, unboxed and put together. This sucker is HEAVY (had to call a friend to place it up on the stand).

I love those Engineer pliers! Fantastic product, IMO.

How are those snap ring pliers? I was wondering about picking up a set because they're soo cheap. Wondering if they're better than the China flea market special. I don't need a really nice set, I only use them maybe twice a year at MOST, so I don't want to spend a lot...but the cheap ones bend even for the light duty work that I'm doing.

They are great. been using mine solid for 4+ years now. Just bought a second set on clearance just to have at home for the rare times I'll need them.

Helping my daughter save a house from carpenter ant damage, so a lot of re-framing coming up. Also going to be changing a shed dormer into a gabled one next spring ... so more framing.

So ... bought a new framing gun. It's a Porter Cable FR350B ... not to heavy and no issues driving 3" round head nails. Haven't heard of any real issues ... so hopefully it'll last for a while.

Nice, I just snagged two pair, diagonal cutters and the duck bills. Been wanting those long diagonal cutters for a while now. Thanks for the tip.

Got this last week - Proto J4900MA (metric). Scored a deal on ebay and I've been looking for a while. Now I need the SAE for a good price :bounce:

I used it yesterday tearing down my motor, very nice quality. USA made which is why I went with Proto vs VIM.

This came in yesterday, COP tester. Seems to work well:

View media item 53634Lots of 3/8" stuff, Facom ratchet, SK ratchet, breaker bar, universal and extensions and some old stock Cornwell sockets, 20 to 26mm they must be old, only one is a flank drive type.
1/4" Koken ratchet adapter, got this to make my fixed head Norbar torque wrench more useful
CK side cutters, picked up from the local diy superstore on clearance for £15.

Today I got some 3/8" impact swivel sockets at Crappy Tire. They have a pile of stuff on really cheap this week, might pick up something else tomorrow. 19.99, regular 49.99, can't argue with that.

The other day I picked up a pick/awl set from the Snap On truck. Little 4 piece one in green. Kind of hurt to pay that much for 4 little picks but I needed them, my pick went missing and I use one for oil filter O rings all day every day (Toyota cartridge filters)

Got the Mastercraft 1/2" cordless impact this week too. Paid for itself with a CRV driveway job yesterday.

Starting to piece together a basic set for my truck toolbox I bought over the summer. At college I put myself on a bi-weekly budget went a little over this week with a craftsman set from ace for 99 bucks but I'm planning on one tool a week here's this weeks. Channellock 337.

The coolest part is the palm ratchet, the sets don't come with them. I actually have a HF one that I bought 20 years ago stuffed in my SK set. I also have a williams breaker bar that gets used a lot, it is sandwiched in there and does not screw up the case.

How much did you pay for the set? Mind telling us where?[/QUOTEnot mine but I put a thread in the hot deals section for a reconditioned set for 200.just a heads up.

Posted above is the next generation Fuel. I saw your link, and it's the old generation. I'm just pointing out that there's two different generations for those who may not know.
