Ordered a Snap on air compressor too... 80 gal, 7hp, 23.5 cfm at 175 psi, dual stage, single phase!!

I was looking at a Tri max unit from another company that was $625 dollars cheaper, but Snap On Clint matched the price and offered free delivery right to my garage... So I went for it!! Should be here in a week or so!!

Carbon... I work on clean custom cars...if I am working on the dirty stuff I just use the black handle ones. The box stays fairly clean, just blow the dust off. There must be a reason most work trucks/vans are white.....

The Impacts are Makita.

Two packages in one day. Bought a torx and metric hex bit socket set, along with a 3/8" Koken swivel extension, from Franks during the Columbus Day sale.

And got two sets of Snap On wrenches I'd been needing. FD+ reversible ratcheting wrench set and the long high performance double box wrench set, both metric.

Armstrong 12-994. I really like it but I'm going to return it. Got it from home depot online but it's the older version that doesn't have the 88 tooth count. I'll be ordering another as soon as they come back in stock at HJE or somewhere like that.

Just finished a 2 week job in Switzerland, so figured I should pick up a little Bday present for myself while over there.

Now just gotta figure out how the heck to fit everything in the single drawer I have left for screwdrivers in my box.

Those look like quality pieces, wonder if they make 3/8 version?

Yes they do, I have it. Never used it once. too shallow to be useful for my automotive needs. But they're pretty.

Seem to use my coworkers quite a bit on most the Jeep Wranglers that come into the shop. Some of the Exhaust bolts get tricky. Going to look them up so I dont have to borrow anymore

PureLeaf,

Can you specify which automobiles and which repairs you've tried the Ko-ken Z-eal sockets and were not able to use them since they're too shallow?

Thanks,

Dave

Like "uglyjacko", I was able to find and purchase tonight a set of those Bostitch long pattern combination wrenches (with the anti-slip open ends) for $15.00. It was an SAE 10 pc set that goes from 1/4" to 7/8". The Mayfield Hts, OH Wal-Mart had 3 more SAE and 2 more metric sets (10-19mm) after I picked up mine. The Bostitch wrench sets are made in China.

Love this thing, going to pick up the smaller version.

I think I've destroyed the last of my cheap hex keys so upgraded. Actually this set was extremely affordable, only around $13. Long overdue purchase.

These unfortunately weren't cheap. 29pc Set Titanium Nitride coated ThunderBits.

alternatively you could try to get an 88t rebuild kit... it's a drop-in upgrade

My driver was selling those dirt cheap also couple months ago. I got the wife a KR43(KRSC43?) and ended up getting myself the KRSC46 after that. It's not a bad pink actually.
