I made a small tool board to sit at my garage entrance to work on my O.P.E.
All wrenches, sockets, ratchets, & screwdrivers are made in Taiwan Dewalt.
The 3 plier set is Dewalt made in China. All the Stanley Hex bits, Torx, & sparkplug sockets are also made in China. Tekton extensions are made in Taiwan ans I will probably add one of their ball pein hammers as well.
These are the first SAE tools I have purchased in 25 years probably.

In other news, today was also a great day for myself.

OTC 27794 arrived today, probably the most complete, best bearing/bushing/seal driver set on the market, but costs a pretty penny.

And last but not least, got this beauty, for free! Almost like new, they threw it out at work because it wouldnt turn on, got it home, capacitor was popped, ordered a new on and viola! Dayton 1RWB5A. And this thing MOVES air.

My blue point wrench set arrived today





These are one of my favorite wrenches I have held. The feel great in my hand. Good sized thicker beams and I like the satin finish. Better then their snap on counter part I think. They will go to work tomorrow and quickly get put to use.

Finally picked up a set of these puppies. After years and years of using shims, I'm just programmed to automatically use shims and never really thought otherwise. With a door install coming up on Monday I made myself sit down and order them while they were on my mind. Can't wait to use them.

bottle leaks into it's cap/into the case... really should be stored upright after opening

can't really get the 2 pieces to thread together on the stethoscope... i'll see if i have the right size die in my thread restorer kit if not i'll exchange it

Got my order in from toolsdelivered.com.

Didn't know about the site until a member mentioned it for good prices on USA williams stuff. So i took a gander and purchased this. 3/8 drive metric impact set. 7-19mm overall finish is great, looks like a well built set. The main thing I like is that they are not super big and bulky like my tekton impacts. Nothing against them. Time will tell. I believe I will be ordering the 1/4 chrome set later on.

I really like the snap on pliers, they are similar to my engineer brand ones from Japan. As for the ball end torx, I would be interested to see how well they work, VIM makes some nice tools.

I am curious as to how those ball end torx bits work as well.

I wonder what the intended purpose of the Snap On pliers are. I know I would use them for installing wrist pin circlips. Right now I use a pair of linesman pliers that I cut a notch in near the tip.

The engineer pliers are for removing damaged screws and rounded bolts, they seem like the same, except the handles are great.

...and the Engineer pliers work extremely well at that task. The Engineer pliers with that jaw are my favorite because they work as normal pliers/cutter but with an additional function. They're also great at holding onto and pulling anything cylindrical, which would normally slip or crush in other pliers. These Snap-ons don't appear to have much of a round shape to that cross cut so they might be a little worse at that...but good to see the USA tool makers join in on the Japanese design(two Japanese tool makers make this kind of pliers). Wish Engineer made one with the angled handle design.

I have a set of ball torx and honestly they are a life saver. I use them daily on dashboards and interior work where there's not a whole lot of room.

What's the model of the Merrys? I've been thinking of picking up some more Japanese pliers because I've been soo impressed with the Engineer pliers quality.

New Blast cabinet... I am always getting something blasted and powder coated, and got tired of all the waiting for stuff... So I am going to do it all myself!! I have done lots of blasting and painting in the past but powder coating will be new to me!!

^^^^ thats nice... the front panel lift looks to have so much more space than my equivalent chinese cheapo version even though they look similar dimensions...

The access is great!! It is made by Dee Blast industries... It's well constructed and solid, my only complaints are the door hold bar just hangs freely when the door is closed so I will fab a bracket, and the foam was stuck on both doors and ripped in a couple places getting the doors open... Snap on is going to send me some new foam...
