I would Love a metric set for that price but I am in California, wonder how much shipping would be? so I tried placing them in my basket but I guess they don't ship because all I see is pick up at a store near you. Can someone confirm that's Local please?? Thanks :)

Same boat as you here in Nevada. I just got back from a week in central Wisconsin too.

Got my Zoro order in today. Got another Durham 72 bin, very nice as usual. Picked up a Dayton 4x36 and 6" belt/disc sander combo, it's a POS. But I'm most proud of this deal:

How much did you get that Mitutoyo caliper for? I put in a Zoro order Monday but didn't even think to get that, and I could've saved 30% on it... [emoji35]

Lovely job. Just be careful though, mine munches through batteries at a surprising rate. If you don't use it frequently, you might want to remove the cell when not in use, and prolly keep a spare on hand in any event. There should be a little cutout on the right hand side of the foam for a spare :)

Also, how close do you think they came to naming it the "Absolute POS" instead of "Absolute AOS" on the edge of the slide? :wtf:

Really? I forget to turn mine off for weeks at a time and my batteries last for years!

Some of my new stuff:

1. 1/4 hex bit holder bought from Lee Valley $15 shipped
2. 3 Sanp-On red ratcheting screwdrivers (all converted to accept the soft grip shanks. I have 2 more red ones in my 1/4 drive drawer that are converted to hold sockets.)
3. Mac Tools Spinner T-Handle for hex bits.

About $90

Fair price and definitely better than the one it's replacing.

I've always suspected mine has an overactive thyroid... but I've just got used to pulling the battery. Glad to hear it's not a more common issue :)

Bit holder looks awesome! ?

Ya it did and so much so I ordered two of them. Funny, I searched the manufacturers site and found they offer them in different colors which I was totally down for. But the only company I could find that sold them was Lee Valley which only offered black. So black it is. I also got 1 kit of sockets holders in each size and two packs of the wrench holders to check out.

The finish on the joker's is amazing. I did test them out briefly and they do appear to "capture" the nut a lot more securely then my previous wrenches.

Needed some long-reach needle nose pliers, decided on trying Tekton after reading on here, and of course that order escalated quickly to take advatange of the Amazon Tekton deal. In the same order I also got straight and 45degree bend needlenose, as well as a 24oz brass hammer, all of which haven't arrived yet.

Also got this off CL, brand new in box that still had the shrinkwrap around it, with receipt for a great deal. Have only run a couple boards thru it but it's awesome and I can't believe how compact it collapses to.

Mac and Matco have similar t-handles. I could be wrong but i think the oem is VIM with a few minor differences. It is very smooth and a solid piece. I liked it so much I bought the 1/4" dr, 3/8" dr and the 1/2" dr versions.

Definately impressed me. See the rest of the comments above.

The other day I mistakenly mentioned to the Snap-On man that I was considering the possibility of thinking about maybe contemplating the possibility of wondering if I want to consider thinking about getting a new scan tool. I have a Matco MD-1000 ( OTC Nemesis ) I updated it three or four years ago. Its okay. I mean its great for OBD II and domestic data streaming. It ***** for anything european. I mean its okay at best. I do collision repair so I don't need anything too fancy.

So today, he shows up in some fancy scan tool truck. Much like the Rock N' Roll tool box truck, but it is all scan tools and what not.
So he shows me THIS used deal.

20151203_092118_zps0whdsvcw.jpg

Completely updated.
After trading my MD-1000 $280.00.
I recon I did well.

Does anyone have this tool or have any experience with it ?
Its quite a bit fancier than my MD-1000.

How much were the Jocker wrenches may i ask and from where? Thanks :)

I bought both Wera sets from KCtoolco.com. Prices there are usually high, but they had 30% of which helped a ton. I believe they sell the set for $225 and I saved $147 due to the ratchet set . . .plus free shipping.

Haha. I just found out that the 357 battery is better than the SR-44 and they're interchangeable. If you have the SR-44, maybe you could try the 357.

What do you mean that the SO ratcheting screwdrivers are "converted" with different shanks? I am very interested in this.
