After going through a cheaper model and reading reviews, the 1450 seemed the way to go 775a0345492180f6f093b506e1a0330b.jpg86bf50934244f2127f86b4439c6d2aa5.jpg1ad56e18ea867c769291f290c6331c08.jpg

I loved the Westling trays at first, great quality and USA made, the footprint takes up too much drawer space though.

I decided to move over to Wera screwdrivers, hex drivers and nut drivers for my guitar work (I build guitars) so I bought all the sizes needed for guitars to replace all my green Snap-On stuff which are better suited to automotive work than guitars it turns out. The Wera's fit guitar screws much better.

I've picked up a few things of black Friday cyber Monday sales weekend. The millermatic 211 came with free helmet and I got a $400 rebate with the purchase of $400 in extras. So yea free extras. The Plasma cutter was on newegg for $299 gets pretty good reviews so I figured why not give it a shot. I bought the harbor freight knock out punch mainly for the hydraulic parts to use for my lisle tailpipe expander. The swag portable bandsaw table is a really nice piece, definitely will come in handy. The Carhartt jacket needed a new one and on cyber Monday was $25 off.

Picked up this small pry bar yesterday at an estate sale for a couple of bucks. I like it because the one end is offset from the other for prying in close areas.

Ya I am coming from the single stack trays that all of my snap on sockets came in so I am definitely freeing up some space with these westling organizers

Those look damn handy for specialty stuff. Is there much flex or wandering when tightening them up? And where did you get them, I'd sure like to have a couple where I could make my own attachments. Cutting up and or modifying my C clamps has me shedding tears every time I do it. Thanks!

My BIL also lives in NY and builds guitars. Small world. Those Weras look nice. I have Wihas for precision screwdrivers and I like them quite a bit.

Home Depot run today. MIL sent a $100 gift card, so I stacked that with the $100 off Milwaukee Fuel deal and used some of my Paypal balance on bits and blades. Finally replaced my dying Dewalt 18v home setup (Fuel drill may come with me to work and the old M18 drill replace it at home).

I am pleasantly surprised how compact the M18 is, especially compared to my old M12 impact driver.

Ya know that blue point ratchet looks a whole lot like the westward ratchets I have. I wouldn't be suprised if there off the same line. Either way I love mine.

It looks identical to a Taiwanese Williams ratchet to me.

They are the same ratchet, just a different logo etched in.

BPRTR936 1/4" Quick Release Ratchet (Blue Point) - Williams 30001 (36 tooth)
BPRFR938 3/8" Quick Release Ratchet (Blue Point) - Williams 31001 (38 tooth)
BPRSR940 1/2" Quick Release Ratchet (Blue Point) - Williams 32001 (40 tooth)

EDIT:

Just looked into it, and aside from the handle being different, they are the same mechanism with the oddball tooth counts on the 3/8" & 1/2" drives. Thanks for the info.:rocker:

EDIT #2:
Just picked this up for the best price. Free!
And already for sale in the classifieds.:spit:

No problem! I always kind of thought it but I never got a good enough look at a blue point ratchet to say so. Definitely my favorite Taiwan ratchets I own. I like the metal selector

I've been eyeing these for a while, yesterday the snap on dealer made me an offer I couldn't refuse.

That's what I asked my mother in law to get me for Christmas. Actually my wife asked me what her mom can get me so I forwarded her a link to the power probe. My family has a history on both sides for asking me what I want (after saying that I'm hard to buy for), and then completely ignoring what I suggest. I guess we will see.

I've been wanting a set of 1/4" impact universal sockets. I didn't want to pay high truck price but I wanted something easy to warranty . I was able to get the Napa brand standard and metric. For the same price as Grey or Sunex. Also my local store is very helpful.

Im Canadian as well.. check out ''Genius'' if you want a brand that one break the bank who doesn't skip sizes

Genius makes some great sets. And no skipped sizes. Their 1/4" impact set is fantastic. Used the heck out of mine and no issues at all.

I have been waiting all week for these to come in! Westling Machine organizers

Awesome! I have a set on order as well for a present for my best friend who is a full time tech. He has all the tools he needs, and recently gave me a 1/4" snap on dual 80 flex head ratchet after I gave him money to buy me a 3/8 off the tool truck. I figured these and a plier organizer rack will return the favor. You better believe my finger prints will be all over them when I give them to him!

Felo and Wiha are Germany(among many others), Wera is Czech Republic. I originally was confused too because often Wiha, Wera and Felo are lumped together in comparisons.

I picked up some Blue Point body hammers. I already have the full Snap-on set, but these came up for sale and I couldn't say no!

Knipex minis.

Even paying 10 euro postage from Germany, the set worked out the same price as it would to buy the two pliers separately in the UK... which means I get a Knipex pouch for nowt (thought I'm pretty sure I will never have a use for that!).

Both the 5" Cobras and 6" wrench pliers (I keep wanting to say "spanner pliers") are as well made as their 10" siblings

Am I weird in wishing the mini set had a 5" Pliers Wrench instead? Of course the easy solution is to by the 5" Cobra and 5" Pliers Wrench individually. Not that I need either right now anyway. :p
