Girlfriend got me a new box for Christmas. 52" Husky 9 drawer and a 27" side box. I'll make a thread with it filled. But here it is.

Went to my local Snap-On dealer's home (in the snow) for the green-handled tools and a spark-plug wrench. The other items were a used ebay find:

I might go back and buy myself another pair, although I don't really need another set.

Ran into Walmart to grab some tape and found these sitting on the clearance section. 41085bde072f3d76cf25b6c282484867.jpg
Never had a set of the Chan en lock side cutters before and for $7 I'll give them a try.

Is that a new green for snap on or is it just the pic. Seems way lighter than snappy green.
The greens are two different colors in person as well. Both tools were on a pegboard in the truck so maybe on of them faded a little? I don't know.

Edit: On second thought/closer inspection. The color is too consistent to be cause by fading, and its uniform all the way around the handle. Its just lighter than the other one and the Snap-On screw drivers, so I don't know why its different.

Guess I'll have to wait 30 years to see if it becomes a collectors item or not :)

i had a good day at the swap meet yesterday and along with a few other Snap-on pieces that i found, i picked up two older 16.5" A270 socket rails w/clips. i've had good luck with finding older Snap-on socket rails, but the A270 has been elusive.

Thanks dnschmidt for the ridiculously fast shipping. This is his "completed " toptul deep metric set.

Oh wow I didn't know he was stocking those. I've been waiting for them to come in. 84$ is a bit of a pill to swallow but I have the standard length and they are really nice sockets. Definitely my most used. Hmmmmmmmm I'll probably be putting in an order with him soon.

I ALWAYS need 3M tape. What was the price on the tape? The last time I found a 3pk of super33 at Home Depot for $7.70 I bought all they had left. Needless to say I use the **** out of some tape.

Will do bodyguy16, I tried the harbor freight version and the it lasted maybe a 1/2 hour and then kept resetting. I think it may have been the batteries but I brought it back and just got this one instead.

I will put one up, if any of you guys have any ideas about what this is I would love to hear it...

Went to my local sears today, and in the clearance aisle there was an older us made torque wrench. I have been waiting to pick one up, figured I might as well.

Now for the head scratcher, it is graduated from 10-75 lbft, but it is a 1/2" drive.
c7d039e5e49718df4b6df58d05459b4b.jpg

The paper that came with it doesn't mention this configuration at all. Most likely someone switched the drive head out at some point, but I am a little lost as to why. Any ideas? Either way, I am going to keep it.

Let us know how you like it, I've read good things about it and was contemplating buying one.

I have the Harbor freight version, and it has work great for a few years now.
