Ordered this off the website during the holiday special. Had been looking at the Williams and this was only, 12 or so dollars more before tax. And it's in Green!

Edit/Add: Jake, I just saw some of these on ebay SELLING for around $60. I don't know why, my dealer had 2 green, 2 red, and I think an orange, and he has them on sale for $42.**.

Hope this helps.

My dealer is also selling them for $42. I picked up a pair couple weeks ago, I like them.

The new Miller Digital Performance helmet I got for Christmas. It replaces, well maybe, the Hobart I have been using. It appears the helmet doesn't flip up like my Hobart does. It's seems to not have enough travel in the motion to do so. The other issue I have is the quality of the helmet itself. I would have thought for buying a $180 "blue" product, I would have gotten something of better quality, not a flimsy "made in Korea" helmet. If my wife didn't get me this helmet for Christmas, I'd send it back.

Not impressed.

Woa, are they having a promo on them now? That's a great price, I could use a new one.

Not to sure if it's a nationwide promo...prolly cuz it was the new account rep handling the area and making his rounds to intro himself

If you would like a virtual Snap-On truck, I've got a reference.

I've worked with Scott before, and he's been honest, forthright and on point. He's on Facebook and if you'd like to develop a relationship with a virtual tool truck.

I've seen this before on that catfishing show... 6 months into the virtual relationship and you're sending him money and then bam, it turns out it's not even a Snap-on truck you've been having a relationship with. It's a Cornwell truck! :shocking:

I really like Woodpecker products, but have a hard time justifying the price. Those guides are so simple and yet so effective.

They are huge time savers and the end result is flawless. Use them all the time! (I have the other Woodpeckers radius/chamfer set.)

Those pliers look very nice! I wonder who makes these for Matco? And are they made in USA?
Thanks. They are Mac, actually. I'm not sure, but to be brutally honest with you: I would look elsewhere. Some background: The friend in question works at the same shop I used to and several guys had them including the owner and my friend. They are decent pliers, but the quality leaves a lot to be desired compared to most truck brand offerings. They are Chinese made, I believe. They sure as heck aren't USA. Anyway, the big problem are that they aren't very precise, the fit and finish is fairly poor, and they develop excessive play after a while. But, the biggest problem is that the manufacturing tolerances are all over the place. Better off buying Channellock, except they don't make the real long ones, unfortunately. If all you work on is cars it's not so bad. The set also comes with a long nose straight plier and a long diagonal cutter, and the small hose
plier but he knows I'm good on that front, so he left them out. The duckbills are pretty good I now have two sets of those. The set was about $100 on special, so it's not bad if you don't have many pliers yet. But I would rather spend my coin on individual pieces of higher quality, since there's a fair amount of redundancy in this set. Not meaning to sound negative, Knipex has spoiled me.

You will love it monte I have the 750 model makes so easy. If you can get the left handed drill bit attachment for that one do it. That is also worth it. I have saved a lot of drill bits with mine.
i figured it will be better to invest in a drill doctor once instead of buying new drill bits and sets all the time
Cheaper in the end and it works fast and simple !

Picked up these two for $120. Blackhawk interchangeable set and Gearwrench 68 piece set which has the 84 tooth ratchets. The Blackhawk set is really cool.
