Totally scored yesterday.

Got 14 1/2 drive Craftsman made in the usa sockets at the pawn shop for $10! Soaked em in mineral spirits overnight and scrubbed em up and letting them dry. Got the Delta/Rockwell scroll saw model 40-440 with stand for $80. Serial number dates it to 1971.....good ol american ARN!! Anyways, gonna use that for some state shaped cutting boards I make and sell. Needs a little tune up but it works just fine as is. Pawn shop had a bunch of 1/4 and 3/8 drive made in USA sockets i'm going back for tomorrow. See if I can get them down to .50 a piece if I buy a **** ton of them. Cheers!!

Got this in the mail today, Williams 3 1/2", pictured next to it is my smallest wrench, a 3/16. It's completely useless and I'm never gonna use it, but it sure is cool lol

Still cold from being in the UPS truck, Mittler Bros 2 1/2" punch and bead die for a project. it wasn't too cheap, but its a bigger size, the machining is absolutely immaculate and even the bearing that the bolt rides against in American made.

How are those I was checking those out last time I was in HF. They seem like they would be nice at bending and not crimping the brake lines. Should work on fuel line also.

I have these if your working with the really easy to bend copper brake line they would do fine. Today I finally got to use mine and I had a hard time using them.

Well if I can mainly use them to get the location and angle started that would be all I ask. I would then finish the bend with my normal blue point bender

It's 9PM, it feels like 12F out according to forecast.io, and I'm contemplating rotating my tires...

I had to buy some fuses, actually only needed one size, but they didn't have any of just that one at Sprawlmart. So I bought an assortment and a nice little organizer to put them in. I can also gather up the other loose fuses that are scattered throughout the drawers in my toolboxes. Organization is the New Year's resolution for 2016!

I work as a Fleet Mechanic at a large utility company, so i mostly deal with DC. But occasionally have to do some work on inverters & Generators. Had been looking around at a bunch of different AC/DC clamp meters and decided on this one. It has a 10mA resolution on the low end and 1000A Max, plus alot of other features. I got it for great price, so im going to put it through the paces and see how it holds up. Never owned a Amprobe meter before but have read/seen some good reviews. Just got it today but was surprised after opening it how good the display is and that it has a Jaw Work light, as the the 320 model doesn't and the display is not as bright and amber back lit.

also the Voltage detector does not come with it i picked that up separately

Menards run.. MagTorch and Super Lube. What more does a guy need?

IMG_9452_zpsz5yherx6.jpg~original

I will be replacing the worn rubber suspension bushings on my personal car with urethane bushings. I don't have a shop press to remove the old ones.. hence the propane gas torch. Hopefully burning them out works well. The Super Lube is for my ratchets and is the result of frequenting this forum board.

Which ratchets are you doing? Some of them respond well to SL, but others are better with a lighter machine oil depending on the mechanism.

Picked up a set of the new style snap-on striking prybars. Haven't used them yet but they feel nice in the hand.

Got this in last week and got to use it on my cousins Lexus IS250 oil change. It's a toyota canister style oil filter "wrench" / cup. Not your tradition oil filter cup/tool.
