OK, I just got this from www.ToolUp.com after reading up on recommended adjustables here. I haven't used it yet but thumbing the wheel I'm a little hesitant. Anyone used both these and the regular Proto adjustables? I think I'll pick up the non-clikstop counterpart and see how I like them.

Will this grown on me?

That's turned out sweet 90. I'd say that's classified as a tool all right.

41 piece kromedge craftsman set off craigslist in really good shape. Now, if i could only find an old metric set.

Part No 9- 5201 btw, and no, the set is not metric, the pamphlet is for "accessories," like a metric set that I would love to find. This set is SAE

New to me NAPA Torque Dominator 1/2" impact.

Allegedly is a clutch twin hammer with 1200ft.lbs.

Composite housing is light and the overmold grip feels good in the hand.

I picked it up for $35. The bottom picture is a size comparison to my 3/8" AirCat.

Yes it will grow on you. It took a while, but it does keep it from moving at random. The Williams that locks is even better.

I unfortunately don't have a pic but I just picked up a 2-pack of 50ft 12/3 extension cords for $36.99 and Costco. The best part they're actually Made in the USA. A few years back I got a 50ft 12/3 HF cord for $29.99. For $6 more for 2 USA made cords is a great deal to me.

After looking it up, Williams site says they are COO Taiwan made. The Protos are COO USA. I think I'll stick with Proto since they are manufacturing them here.

There's nothing in the world that could've dragged me away from the soft glow of electric *** gleaming across the garage. It's like looking into the sun, although you shouldn't

Had a dentist appt. Saturday and the Rockler store is just up the road from my dentist.

Dewalt 18-20v conversion kit and an additional sled/adapter
Center/Offset finder
Pair of the small Bandy clamps - I have the mediums already
Flex arm attachment

They had a deal on the battery kit - trade in a NiCad and get a $50 gift card. I took the card and handed it to my wife who then bought the extra sled with it. The Rockler guy just grinned and said "Well played, well played".

I hadn't planned on the flex arm attachment but my wife was looking thru the flyer on the drive up here and said "This looks like it would be handy to have for your drill press - I think you should get it". Gotta love that!!

Lunch at one of my favorite places after that! What a great day....

Lisle push pin pliers
OTC cable type hose clamp tool and OTC hose clamp pliers
Tekton long hose clamp pliers.

The Tekton quality is a whole lot better than I expected. I had been overlooking the brand in the past due since I had figured they were just another junk tool brand.

I've had some Tekton hex bit sockets at work for a few years, we beat the hell out of them with 3/8 impacts, took a few thousand bolts to wear out the 5/16, lost one of the smaller ones but the rest are still going strong

Picked up these today. The vacuum purge refiller makes real quick work of refilling cooling systems.

The chain cutter makes exhaust replacement a breeze.

I first learned about these scrapers watching the South Main Auto channel on Youtube.

The place I mail ordered it from threw in a bonus of two handy little calipers and a diabetes starter kit.

where did you order from? I'm going to have to get me one of those

Me ?

Their name is there on the calipers. Fantastic people to deal with. I used the popup window on their website to sign up for a 10 dollar discount on my first order. Usong that drove the price down nicely.

Most Tekton pliers are made in the USA by Wilde.

Doubt those are made by wilde. Most hose removal pliers are imported for whatever reason. I only know of 1 domestic manufacturer however the name escapes me.
